New to Grow
I am a mental health clinician who works with adolescents and families, supporting clients as they navigate emotional, behavioral, and academic challenges. I use evidence-based, collaborative approaches that are tailored to each client’s strengths, needs, and cultural context. By building a trusting therapeutic relationship, I help clients develop practical skills, improve functioning, and create meaningful, lasting change in their daily lives.
In our first session together, here's what you can expect
During our first session, we’ll focus on getting to know each other and creating a space where you feel comfortable, heard, and respected. We’ll talk about what brings you to therapy, your goals, and any concerns you may have, at a pace that feels right for you. I’ll ask questions to better understand your experiences and strengths, explain how therapy works, and answer any questions you have. By the end of the session, we’ll begin identifying goals and next steps, so you leave with a clear sense of direction and support.
The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions
My greatest strengths as a clinician are my ability to build strong, trusting relationships and to meet clients where they are without judgment. I use evidence-based approaches and tailor interventions to each client’s unique needs, strengths, and cultural context. I have rich experience which allows me to translate insight into practical, real-life strategies. Clients often value my collaborative style, consistency, and focus on meaningful, sustainable change.
The clients I'm best positioned to serve
My ideal clients may feel overwhelmed, misunderstood, or stuck in patterns that aren’t working—but they are open to growth and willing to engage in the therapeutic process. They value collaboration, are open to learning practical skills, and want support in strengthening relationships, building confidence, and improving daily functioning. Together, we focus on creating realistic, meaningful change that supports long-term success at home, at school, and in relationships.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I have experience applying Cognitive Behavioral Therapy across diverse populations and settings. I emphasize collaboration and the therapeutic relationship, tailoring interventions to individual needs and progress while adjusting strategies based on feedback to support engagement and monitor outcomes.
Solution Focused Brief Treatment
Treatment involves identifying the presenting concerns and their impact, with an emphasis on fostering forward movement through acceptance-based strategies.
