LMHC, 14 years of experience
New to Grow
I am a licensed mental health therapist with over 14 years of experience providing individualized therapy to adults and older adults, focusing on anxiety and stress management, depression, trauma and PTSD, relationship issues, grief and loss, and life transitions. My approach is genuine and collaborative, helping you explore your experiences, build coping tools, and find meaningful ways to move forward.
From our first session together we will work on building connection and trust, setting the framework and goals for our future work together. Throughout our work together, we will continue to evaluate and refine our goals as we utilize specific therapeutic techniques to help you move towards those goals intentionally.
I value authenticity and believe healing happens when you feel seen and supported. My goal is to create a warm, nonjudgmental space where you can safely share your story and begin to heal. Together, we’ll work toward your best self. One step at a time. Let’s connect to start your journey.
If you’re feeling anxious, stressed, depressed or facing life transitions, I’m here to support you. I have over 14 years of experience providing therapy to adults and older adults, helping with stress management, trauma and PTSD, relationship challenges, adjustment difficulties, anxiety and depression. I value the importance of being genuine and authentic in the development of a therapeutic relationship. I believe that having a good support system helps us handle the challenges we face in life and I look forward to being a part of yours!
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is an evidence-based, goal-oriented approach to help you identify and change thinking patterns (cognitions) and behaviors that are causing you distress.
This collaborative, and evidence-based approach focuses on teaching specific, practical skills across four key areas: Mindfulness, Distress Tolerance, Emotion Regulation and Interpersonal Effectiveness to help improve your overall quality of life.
This approach honors your identity and recognizes and respects the central role that your cultural background, including your ethnicity, race, religion, gender identity, sexual orientation, socioeconomic status, and other intersecting identities, play in shaping your experiences, worldview, and mental health.
This therapeutic approach focuses on grief as a natural response to loss, and how to navigate its complexities and various stages to help you find a path toward healing, acceptance and reintegration.
TF-CBT is an evidence-based approach to help clients process and recover from traumatic experiences through use of trauma-sensitive interventions with cognitive behavioral techniques.
