In our first session together, here's what you can expect

Finding a therapist can be a very difficult process. This is why I strive to create an environment where each patient feels safe. You will never be pressured to speak about experiences that you are not ready to share. I respect each person’s right of self-determination.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

Each patient is the expert of their life. I’m here to learn about your experiences from you. I work on understanding what is impacting your mental health through a nonjudgmental and compassionate approach.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

Many of our struggles are the result of unresolved conflicts. I utilize different therapeutic approaches to help patients understand the impact of these conflicts on their mental health. Through a collaborative process we create a treatment plan that fits your needs.

My treatment methods

Psychodynamic

Psychodynamic therapy helps patients identify and process conflicts from their past to promote healing and growth. I create an environment of trust so that each patient feels safe when exploring their past. Each patient determines how much of their past they want to explore.

Trauma Informed Care

Trauma can lead to us feeling unsafe at all times. TFI therapy focuses on building emotional and physical safety. This therapy helps patients increase mindfulness, trustworthiness with themselves, and empowerment.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

Thoughts influence our emotions and behaviors. CBT helps patients identify thoughts that are impacting their mental health. Patients learn to evaluate and change their thinking to empower them to achieve their goals.
