Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

During our initial intake appointment, I'll ask an array of questions to get an understanding of who you are, what experiences you have endured, and what your goals for therapy look like. Together, we will openly discuss and develop a plan to tackle short-term goals that support your long-term desired outcome. Subsequent sessions will be us openly processing and working toward those goals. It's simple; don't overthink it. I will help make it a comfortable experience, using humor at times to get us through the hard topics.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

Thoughts control feelings, feelings dictate behaviors...Often we just feel stuck in circumstances, I have a niche for assisting you with challenging the patterns of negative thinking and helping you improve recurrent anxious thought cycles and depressive episodes. Beyond that, I believe we all want happiness and peace, and if it is costing you your peace then that's a cost that is too high. Whether you need support in improving a stagnant relationship, feel stuck in a "life rut", or simply can't figure out what the issue is, I help support people through an array of life stressors.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

Adult, elder, couples, families. Individuals with co-occurring disorders, substance use, depression, anxiety, other mood disorders. General life issues, divorce, loss, day-to-stressors, life transitions, veterans.
