During our first session, we will focus on introductions and establishing a strong therapeutic foundation. This time allows us to get to know one another, review expectations, and ensure that therapy feels like a good fit for you. We will then begin discussing your goals and collaboratively develop a measurable treatment plan to guide our work and track your progress over time. Healing is a gradual process, and meaningful change takes time. Throughout our work together, I will encourage you to practice self-compassion and extend yourself grace as you move through this journey.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I have worked with clients who have experienced negative thinking/self-talk. CBT is used to help challenge and reframe your thinking. I take the approach of reframing and cognitive restructuring. This can be done through various methods: journaling, worksheets, video recordings, etc.

Psychoeducation

Psychoeducation is used to educate you on the symptoms you may be experiencing. It is a critical piece in the therapeutic process as it can be helpful to put a name to your emotions/thoughts/behaviors.
