Therapy should be a safe place where you can debrief, process your thoughts, find clarity and work out issues without any judgement or negativity. My approach has always been client centered-working through presenting problems that affect day-to-day activities. I believe individuals should feel comfortable, supported, respected and valued when seeking help during vulnerable times. I have 10 years’ experience in providing mental health treatment. I am experienced in working with individuals experiencing depression and anxiety. I have worked with adults and children. My therapeutic approach is a mixture of psychodynamic and cognitive behavioral therapy. It would be a privilege to work with you to assist you with your journey of growth and development.
First session usually goes over intake and gathering relevant information.
A strength of mine is being a good listener through motivational interviewing.
I prefer working with individuals that can be open minded to become vulnerable and accepting change.
I identify as
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

Grief Therapy
Providing support and guidance during the loss of a loved one.
Psychodynamic
Focused on understanding how current behaviors and emotions are influenced by past experiences and how events from childhood affect self-awareness and growth.

It was our first session but Sarah provided good points for me to consider as I embark on my journey in therapy towards getting better.
