With a background in clinical psychology (PsyD) and specialized training from institutions including Harvard Medical School, University of Louisville School of Medicine, and The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, I bring a compassionate and evidence-based approach to therapy. My experience spans work with children, adolescents, and adults, particularly in addressing challenges related to behavioral health, anxiety, depression, OCD, trauma, and chronic illness. In therapy, I aim to create a supportive environment where clients feel safe to explore their concerns and develop practical strategies for managing life’s difficulties. I’m committed to helping each client build resilience and achieve meaningful personal growth.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session, we’ll begin with a brief introduction, then complete a comprehensive behavioral evaluation with the goal of identifying a client's specific challenges. This approach will allow me to develop a customized plan for us to work on together in our upcoming sessions.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

As a provider, my strengths lie in my compassionate, client-centered approach and my commitment to evidence-based practices. I work to create a safe, non-judgmental space where clients feel heard and understood, fostering trust and openness. I am also skilled at developing tailored strategies to empower clients with practical tools for managing challenges and achieving their goals. My dedication to continuous learning and improvement ensures that I bring the most effective and up-to-date approaches to my practice.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I have extensive experience using cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) with children, adolescents, and adults. In my work as a pediatric psychologist, I have tailored CBT techniques to suit developmental stages, focusing on engaging younger children through interactive and visual methods, while guiding adolescents in identifying thought patterns and building resilience. With adults, I work collaboratively to unpack cognitive distortions and develop practical strategies to manage stress, anxiety, and other challenges. Across all ages, I emphasize skill-building and self-reflection, aiming to empower clients with tools for lasting change.
