What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

During our first session, it's normal to feel nervous. We will take time for a brief introduction, I will explore what brought you to services, gather information to inform your overall goals for services. Our first session is truly an introduction, therapy takes time and will be a process. I'll be with you along the way and you are the one that sets the pace throughout care. At the end of our first session, if it's a good fit, we will schedule a next session.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I bring compassion, curiosity, and a safe space for clients to share there challenges and goals for the future.

My treatment methods

Strength-Based

My work has been rooted in strength based approach highlighting the strengths, resilience and positive qualities that each client brings into sessions with a focus to utilize these qualities to maximize growth and wellness.

Trauma Informed Care

It is my priority to create a safe and welcoming space. I will provide an invitation into sessions to foster individual choice and collaboration to meet each person where they are at. When and if you are ready we can develop a foundation of resources to support in the exploration of the impact of trauma and how it shows up in the present. You will be the driver that determines the speed of therapy and can step on the break at any time to slow things down.

Humanistic

The foundation of my practice is working with clients through a humanistic lens by creating a collaborative, compassionate, and non-judgmental space. I believe every person has their own potential and unique abilities to thrive in this world. We will work together to tap into your own resources to support your healing and growth.

Psychoeducation

Psychoeducation is a key within therapy, as we all have space to learn and grow. Utilizing psychoeducation gives space for understanding symptoms, patterns, or connecting to new resources to strengthen ones personal insight and overall wellness.
