New to Grow
I love working with people who are feeling the weight of anxiety or depression and are ready to take steps toward change. My ideal clients are motivated to create a life that feels more balanced, fulfilling, and connected. In our work together, we focus on managing symptoms, building confidence, learning to speak up for yourself, and strengthening your relationships. I believe therapy doesn’t have to be all serious all the time—finding moments of fun, lightness, and even laughter along the way can make the process that much more meaningful. With over 10 years of experience, I specialize in helping people work through anxiety, depression, and other mood concerns. I often use CBT and ACT to support clients in reaching their goals—focusing on challenging unhelpful thoughts, building effective coping skills for in-the-moment stress, and making it easier to process emotions. Taking the first step toward therapy can feel like a tough choice—but it’s also one of the most powerful ones you can make for yourself. You are worth the effort, the time, and the care it takes to feel better and build the life you want. I’ll be here to walk alongside you, offering support and guidance as you navigate the ups and downs of the process.
In our first session together, here's what you can expect
In our first session, we will dive into what brings you into treatment and mental health symptoms that are impacting your quality of life. The first session can feel like a lot, and I will be there to walk us through this process together. There will be a few documents to fill out, just like any paperwork a medical professional encourages you to complete. If it feels like too much, you can always ask to discuss certain questions in person.
The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions
Therapy doesn't need to be serious at all times, I like to look for the light and sometimes humor in our situations. I lean into relationships and how those around us can impact our moods. My experience has been in serious mental health work at the inpatient and partial hospitalization levels. I am now working on a more weekly basis with my clients taking expertise in depression, anxiety, and mood disorders with me.
The clients I'm best positioned to serve
I love working with all individuals. I tend to work best with individuals struggling with depression and types of anxiety. I use a holistic approach to consider how your past and current situations impact mental health concerns. It is difficult to take the first step in seeking out treatment, so I will try my best to make it light and meet you where you are. I use a skills based approach to empower you in stressful situations. I feel my goal as your therapist is to empower you to feel like you don't need support in these situations.
