Hi, I’m Christine Pasquale. I bring over 20 years of experience in the mental health field, having worked in schools and community mental health settings. I’m deeply committed to helping clients navigate life’s challenges with empathy, insight, and practical support. I hold a B.A. in Psychology from Rider University and an M.A. in Counseling from NYU, and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in New Jersey. I have had the privilege of working with adolescents and adults from diverse backgrounds, supporting individuals experiencing anxiety, low self-esteem, relationship concerns, college and career transitions, and other life changes. I specialize in working with the LGBTQIA+ community and am passionate about providing an affirming, safe space for people of all identities and orientations to heal, grow, and thrive. Whether you’re seeking support for anxiety, relationship challenges, or identity exploration, you don’t have to navigate it alone. Together, we can build clarity, confidence, and a life that feels authentic to you.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session, you can expect a supportive and nonjudgmental space where we begin getting to know each other. We’ll discuss what brought you to therapy, your current concerns, and any relevant background information. You’ll have the opportunity to ask questions about the therapy process and share what you hope to work on. We may complete brief assessments to better understand your symptoms, and together we’ll identify a few initial goals to guide our work moving forward.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

What stands out about my approach is the balance of genuine compassion and practical guidance. I strive to create a space where clients feel truly heard, understood, and safe to be themselves. At the same time, I incorporate evidence-based methods like CBT, Socratic questioning, mindfulness based approaches and supportive feedback to gently explore patterns and build insight. Clients often share that they feel both supported and empowered in our work together by gaining clarity, learning meaningful coping tools, and developing confidence to reach goals leading to lasting change.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I am best positioned to serve adolescents and young adults navigating everyday life stressors who are looking for both support and accountability as they work toward their goals. I have experience helping clients manage anxiety, life transitions, relationship/dating challenges, and self-esteem concerns. I am also deeply committed to providing LGBTQIA+ affirming therapy and supporting clients as they explore identity, gender, and sexuality in a safe, nonjudgmental space. Many of the clients I work with are high-functioning and motivated for growth. They are open to exploring patterns in their thoughts and behaviors and are ready to build practical coping skills, strengthen communication, and develop greater confidence as they move through personal, academic, or career transitions. Whether you’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or unsure where to begin, you don’t have to navigate it alone. Together, we’ll explore what may be holding you back and move toward a life that feels more authentic and aligned.
