Often rebooked
Hi, I'm Lindsay. Do you often feel overwhelmed, exhausted or like your emotions are out of your control? Are your relationships, self-care, health, work and family pulling you in a million directions when you feel like you have nothing left to give? Are you struggling to adapt to the changes that a relationship or new parenthood have brought upon you? What about that inner voice that tells you that you aren't enough, you aren't doing it right, and everyone else has something figured out that you can't quite pin down? Maybe you are anticipating or in the throes of a difficult life transition, major loss, or reckoning with some element of your past that has resurfaced as panic, anxiety, distraction, irritability or shutting down. If so, you deserve a space to sort through it all. I practice from the perspective that the relationship that usually needs more time, attention and healing is the one we have with ourselves. Together, we can collaboratively work to identify areas of strength and imbalance, sources of stress, beliefs that hold you back, and strategies and insights to encourage you to stay grounded in the present.
In our first session together, here's what you can expect
My role in our work together is to provide empathy, support, kindness, reflection and curiosity. My hope for you is that you leave feeling just a little better, if not a whole lot better, than when you arrived. Our lives, and our feelings, are complex; it can be a challenge to understand all of the pieces of ourselves. In my work with survivors of trauma, addiction, and mental illness, I have learned about the resilience inherent in all individuals. My intent is to help you identify and promote your strengths and abilities, while learning effective ways to cope and heal.
The treatment methods and tools I utilize
I have provided psychotherapy services in hospitals, community health centers, intensive outpatient programs and private practice. I offer aspects of various modalities including psychodynamic therapy, EMDR, trauma-informed CBT, mindfulness-based stress reduction and motivational interviewing.
The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions
I work with individuals seeking help with stress management, relationship issues, improving self-esteem, parenting, creating boundaries, developing healthy communication skills, depression, anxiety, fertility/pregnancy/post-partum, grief and loss. I welcome you to start a process of self-discovery, awareness and deeper understanding.
The clients I'm best positioned to serve
I am currently accepting new clients for daytime teletherapy. I work mainly with adults via individual therapy.

I can’t say enough good things about Lindsay. She is one of those rare people who can be completely honest and direct while still making you feel cared for every step of the way. She isn’t afraid to call me out when I need it, but she does it with such kindness, warmth, and gentleness that I never feel judged. Her insight has helped me grow in ways I didn’t expect, and I always leave our sessions feeling lighter, clearer, and more grounded. I’m truly grateful to have found her.
