Starting therapy is a big step, and it's normal to feel a mix of curiosity, hope, and even nervousness. During the first session, we will spend some time getting to know each other. You dont have to share everything right away-just what feels safe and manageable for you. We will review confidentiality policies, and answer any questions you have about how therapy works. I'll ask questions to learn more about you and your background, and what brought you to therapy. We will explore goals challenges, and what brought you to therapy.
As a therapist. my greatest strengths lie in my ability to build genuine, trusting relationships with clients and create a safe, nonjudgmental space for growth. I bring a deep sense of empathy and presence into my work, which allows clients to feel seen, heard, and validated. I am a skilled at listening beyond works, identifying underlying patterns, and helping clients gain meaningful insight into their experiences. My flexibility enables me to adapt interventions to meet each client's unique needs, while my grounding in evidence-based practices ensures that my approach remains both compassionate and effective. I remain committed to ongoing learning, reflection, and growth so that I can continually provide high-quality, client centered care.
I am best positioned to serve clients who are feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or uncertain, and wanting support in finding clarity and direction. If you are open to self-reflection and ready to make small steps toward meaningful change, this is a great place for you! I think it is important to create a space where clients can be heard without judgment and supported with passion.
