About me

Hello! I'm glad you're here taking the time to care for yourself. I offer a safe space for introspection, expression, and developing self-understanding. We will utilize your strengths and evidence-based techniques to create an action plan that empowers you to find solutions, manage stress, cope with overwhelming emotions, and enhance your overall well-being. My hope is that you will leave each session feeling lighter, calmer, and more centered. If you are ready to find more balance and ease in your life, let's work together.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session together, we will review your history and what led you to this point today. We will discuss your hopes and goals for yourself and how we can work together to address these goals. We will discuss what therapy modalities might be the best fit for what your looking for. You can tell me about what has not worked in the past and ask any questions you have about my therapeutic approach. We will be focusing on your strengths and interests. You can definitely show me a picture of your pet or favorite houseplant.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

One of my greatest strengths is my ability to find strengths and hope in others when they do not see any. I am a big-picture thinker and realistic optimist. I like finding creative solutions to problems. I am a great listener, empathetic, and open-minded. I find joy philosophy and like to explore deeply-held beliefs, so we can examine if they are helpful and effective. I love learning, which helps me continuously seek new resources to bring to the table. I believe that mindfulness is at the core of change. We need to be aware of ourselves in the present moment and be able to pause in order to choose the response we want, rather than reacting. I can teach a variety of mindfulness techniques that are accessible to anyone, regardless of spirituality or background.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I love working with clients who feel stuck, who despite their best efforts and the endless attempts at self-care and coping skills, they still feel worthless and unlikable. I like to help clients overcome their negative life experiences and create a positive sense of self they feel proud of.
