(she/her)
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Pennsylvania, with a Master’s Degree in Social Work from the University of Pittsburgh and over 19 years of experience supporting individuals through life’s most difficult moments. My practice is grounded in the belief that healing is a journey—and that everyone deserves a safe, understanding space to be seen, heard, and supported along the way. Throughout my career, I have worked with individuals navigating a wide range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, trauma, suicidal ideation, ADHD, stress, grief, anger management, and life transitions. I am deeply committed to helping clients feel empowered as they explore their unique challenges and build healthier, more fulfilling lives. My therapeutic approach is warm, collaborative, and strengths-based, tailored to meet each person where they are. Whether you're seeking tools to manage day-to-day stress or processing more complex emotional pain, I aim to walk alongside you with compassion, clinical insight, and respect for your lived experience.
In our first session, we will get to know each other, and I will listen closely to your story and the experiences that led you to seek therapy. My goal is to create a space where you feel comfortable talking about your emotions and experiences, setting the foundation for us to create meaningful goals for your treatment in future sessions.
Over the past 20 years, I’ve had the privilege of working with people from diverse backgrounds, each bringing their own unique stories and strengths to the therapeutic process. Clients often share that they appreciate my relatability, compassion, and insight. At the same time, I bring a direct and honest approach to our sessions, offering gentle but meaningful challenges when needed to support growth and encourage movement beyond one’s comfort zone. My life experiences, paired with my professional background, allow me to connect with clients on a deeper, more authentic level. I strive to create a warm, collaborative environment where you can feel safe exploring your challenges and building the tools needed to move forward with clarity and confidence.
My ideal clients are thoughtful, self-aware people who feel deeply and care deeply about their relationships, their families, and the lives they’re building. From the outside they often appear capable and strong, but internally they may feel overwhelmed, anxious, stuck, or unsure of themselves. Many are navigating relationship challenges, life transitions, or the emotional weight of trying to hold everything together for everyone else. They may struggle with self-doubt, communication patterns that leave them feeling misunderstood, or cycles of anxiety that make it hard to feel calm and grounded. What they share in common is a desire to better understand themselves, build healthier connections, and feel more at peace in their own lives. My clients don’t need to have everything figured out—they simply need to be open to reflection, growth, and the process of change.
Other specialties
I identify as
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I have been using CBT for many years as a way to help individuals challenge and reframing their thoughts while gaining insight to the unhelpful thought patterns they experience. This technique has helped individuals address both anxiety and depression symptoms through learning about how thoughts influence feelings and behaviors. These skills also help manage stress and impact moods.
Dialectical Behavior (DBT)
DBT is a balance between the concepts of acceptance and change, utilizing concrete skills in mindfulness, interpersonal effectiveness, emotion regulation, and distress tolerance. DBT has been shown to be highly effective in reducing symptoms such as suicidal and self-harm behaviors and improving quality of life which is what makes it such a valuable treatment method.
Trauma Informed Care
I meet all individuals from a trauma informed perspective as everyone's life experiences are uniquely their own and therefore need to be understood in order to provide effective treatment.
EMDR
EMDR is a highly effective treatment method for addressing trauma and is proven to also help with treatment of anxiety and depression. This is a specialized modality that takes time, consistent commitment and includes very structured elements to be effective.

I have always had a great experience with Jackie. She is not hesitant to call me on my BS when needed, but in a compassionate, understanding way. She helps reframe situations so they are easier to get to the root of, and I feel I have made a lot of progress with her. I trust her with pretty much anything I have to say and don't feel judged for repeating previous mistakes or getting stuck sometimes. I would highly recommend her as a therapist.
