I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) based in Pennsylvania, with a Master's in Social Work from the University of Pittsburgh. I am dedicated to helping individuals navigate through challenging times with empathy, understanding, and support. My goal as a therapist is to create a safe, non-judgmental space where clients can feel heard, valued, and empowered to work through difficulties that may arise in their lives. Throughout my career, I have worked with individuals facing a wide range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, trauma, suicidal ideation, ADHD, stress management, grief, anger management, and life transitions. My approach is client-centered and strengths-based, focusing on helping individuals develop coping strategies and fostering personal growth. I believe that healing is a journey, and my role is to support each person as they navigate their path toward wellness.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session together, we will get to know each other and talk about what led you to taking this step in seeking treatment. My goal is to help you feel comfortable in talking about your experiences and emotions so that we can together create goals for treatment in follow-up sessions.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

Over the past 15 years I have worked with a wide variety of people, each with their own unique experiences, backgrounds, and life circumstances. In combination with my own experiences, background and life circumstances, I have found that clients find me to be relatable, insightful and compassionate while also being direct, honest and pushing them outside of their comfort zone when needed.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

Many of my clients come to me feeling frustrated, overwhelmed, or alone, unsure of what’s happening within them or how to begin their healing process. I offer a compassionate, non-judgmental space where we can explore these feelings, understand their root causes, and work toward positive, lasting change. I know that facing mental health challenges can often feel isolating and scary, but I’m here to help you identify the tools and strategies that can help you regain a sense of control, hope, and peace. Whether you’re dealing with past trauma, current emotional struggles, or just aren’t sure why you feel the way you do, I’m here to guide and support you as you make meaningful steps toward healing. Together, we will work toward breaking through barriers, managing difficult emotions, and finding a clearer path forward. If you’re ready to explore ways to create change in your life, I invite you to reach out and begin the process of rediscovering your strength and resilience.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I have been using CBT for many years as a way to help individuals challenge and reframing their thoughts while gaining insight to the unhelpful thought patterns they experience. This technique has helped individuals address both anxiety and depression symptoms through learning about how thoughts influence feelings and behaviors.

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

My use of DBT is a balance between acceptance and change that utilizes concrete skills in mindfulness, interpersonal effectiveness, emotion regulation, and distress tolerance. DBT has been shown to be highly effective in reducing symptoms such as suicidal and self-harm behaviors and improving quality of life which is what makes it such a valuable treatment method.

Trauma Informed Care

I meet all individuals from a trauma informed perspective as everyone's life experiences are uniquely their own and therefore need to be understood in order to provide effective treatment.
