Hi, I am a licensed counselor (LPC) based in Arizona. I received my Masters from Grand Canyon University. I have been in the Mental Health field for 20+ years. I specialize in working with people struggling with issues like anxiety, depression, trauma, or other mental health disorders who seek out counseling as a way to understand and cope with their feelings and behaviors

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

Our first session is all about creating a foundation of safety, trust, and understanding. I’ll begin by welcoming you into a supportive, nonjudgmental space where you can go at your own pace. We’ll talk about what brings you to therapy, any goals or hopes you may have, and I’ll ask some questions to better understand your history, strengths, and current challenges. You’re never expected to share more than you feel ready for — your comfort and sense of control are central to how I work. I’ll also explain how therapy works, answer any questions you have about the process, and go over important details like confidentiality and boundaries. This first session is the start of a collaborative relationship where you are the expert on your life, and I am here to support you in navigating your healing journey with compassion, clarity, and care.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

My greatest strength lies in my person-centered approach—truly seeing and honoring each individual as the expert of their own experience. I believe healing happens when clients feel deeply heard, respected, and accepted without judgment. Drawing from my own journey as a survivor of trauma, I bring authenticity and empathy into every session, creating a safe and collaborative space where clients can explore their stories at their own pace. This foundation of trust and unconditional positive regard allows clients to reconnect with their inner strengths and move toward meaningful growth and healing.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

My ideal client is an adult, age 18 to 100, who has experienced trauma in any of its many forms—whether through childhood abuse, domestic violence, systemic oppression, or other painful life events. As a survivor of childhood trauma and domestic violence myself, I understand not just the deep emotional toll trauma can take, but also the strength it requires to begin healing. I am especially drawn to working with individuals who may feel overwhelmed, disconnected, or uncertain about how to move forward, but who are open—however cautiously—to the possibility of change. I offer a trauma-informed, culturally responsive, and deeply compassionate space where clients can feel safe, heard, and empowered. I believe healing isn’t about erasing the past, but about reclaiming one’s voice, worth, and agency at every stage of life.
