New to Grow
With years of experience serving families across Southeast Louisiana, I help clients feel better, think more clearly, and heal more fully. Originally from Virginia, I’ve called Louisiana home for over a decade. I’m also a veteran’s wife, a mother of two — including one neurodivergent child — and an adjunct professor who regularly presents at regional and state professional conferences. I have experience assisting adults across all stages of life with learning new skills to navigate life transitions, healing from traumatic experiences, and coping with complex family situations. I particularly thrive with those who have experience working as: CEOs, upper management, active duty/veterans, emergency dispatchers, and caregivers over 50 years old. I enjoy supporting and strengthening those who have others depending on them - whether that is your children, your staff, or someone else.
In our first session, there’s no pressure to share anything deeply personal right away. My priority is helping you feel comfortable and supported as we begin working together. We’ll focus on getting to know one another — how I work as a clinician, what brought you here, and what you need and hope for from this space. During our second and third sessions, we’ll begin developing a treatment plan tailored to your goals, address any remaining questions or concerns, and start building the skills, tools, and resources that will support your growth and healing.
The most rewarding part of my work is the moment you will realize that you are ready to move forward — feeling healed, empowered, understood, and equipped with the tools they need to thrive. I’ve had the privilege of sharing many of these “last sessions” with clients. We will spend time understanding the challenges you’re facing and the complexities surrounding them, but we won’t stay stuck there. Together, we’ll focus on practical strategies that help you regain confidence, navigate work stress, manage difficult family dynamics, and reduce symptoms like panic attacks and flashbacks. When you commit to the process and I bring my expertise, therapy can create meaningful, tangible change — helping you feel more in control of your life again.
I work best with clients who are ready to actively engage in the healing process both inside and outside of the counseling room. If you have clear goals and are looking for practical support in reaching them, I may be the right fit for you. My approach is deep, intentional, and goal-oriented — but not endless. I want to help you create meaningful change, develop lasting tools, and confidently move forward with your life.
