New to Grow
With years of experience serving individuals and families across Southeast Louisiana, I help clients feel better, think more clearly, and heal more fully. In addition to my clinical work, I am an adjunct professor and regularly present at regional and state professional conferences. Outside of my professional roles, I’m a veteran’s wife and mother of two—including one neurodivergent child. Originally from Virginia, I’ve proudly called Louisiana home for over a decade. I have extensive experience helping adults across all stages of life navigate major transitions, heal from traumatic experiences, and develop effective strategies for managing complex family dynamics. I particularly enjoy working with leaders and caregivers, including CEOs, executives, upper management professionals, active-duty military personnel, veterans, emergency dispatchers, and adults over 50 who are caring for others. I am especially passionate about supporting people who carry significant responsibilities. Whether you’re leading a company, serving your community, caring for a loved one, or raising a family, I provide a space where you can receive the same support and care that you so often provide to others.
In our first session, I want you to feel no pressure. There is no expectation to share more than you feel comfortable sharing. My priority is helping you feel safe, supported, and at ease as we begin working together. We’ll spend time getting to know one another, discussing what brought you to counseling, exploring your hopes and goals for therapy, and answering any questions you may have about my approach and how I work as a clinician.
One of my greatest strengths is helping clients finish well—moving through the counseling process with purpose and leaving equipped to thrive beyond our work together. The most rewarding parts of my work is helping clients reach the point where they are ready to move forward—feeling healed, empowered, understood, and equipped with the tools they need to thrive. I’ve had the privilege of celebrating many of these milestone moments with clients as they complete their counseling journey. We will spend time understanding the challenges you’re facing and the complexities surrounding them, but we won’t stay stuck there. Together, we’ll focus on practical strategies that help you regain confidence, navigate workplace stress, manage difficult family dynamics, and reduce symptoms such as panic attacks, anxiety, and flashbacks. When you commit to the process and I bring my expertise, therapy can create meaningful, tangible change—helping you gain clarity, build resilience, and feel more in control of your life again.
I work best with clients who are ready to actively engage in the healing process both inside and outside of the counseling room. If you want to develop specific and time-limited goals and are looking for practical support in reaching them, I may be the right fit for you. My approach is deep, intentional, and goal-oriented — but not endless. I want to help you create meaningful change, develop lasting tools, and confidently move forward with your life.
