My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I implement Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) across various client populations. I used CBT techniques to help clients manage anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, trauma, and self-defeating thought patterns. Some of the approaches are to help clients identify, challenge, and replace cognitive distortions (e.g., catastrophizing, black-and-white thinking, mind-reading). I use graded exposure techniques to help clients face fears, social anxiety, or panic triggers in a structured way. I integrate mindfulness techniques to help clients stay present and reduce excessive worry. I help clients develop a structured approach to solving problems rather than reacting emotionally. I encourage them to define the problem, brainstorm solutions, weigh pros/cons, and implement action steps

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

I have incorporated Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) techniques to help clients struggling with emotion dysregulation, relationship difficulties, anxiety, depression, and trauma-related symptoms. My experience with DBT focuses on helping clients build emotional resilience, develop distress tolerance skills, and improve interpersonal effectiveness.

Strength-Based

I have extensive experience using strength-based treatment methods in my clinical practice, particularly in individual therapy, couples counseling, and with families. This approach aligns with my goal of empowering clients by focusing on their existing strengths, resilience, and abilities rather than solely addressing deficits or pathology.
