LMSW-C, 25 years of experience
New to Grow
I'm a licensed clinical social worker with over 20 years of experience walking alongside adults and caregivers through some of life’s most emotionally complex seasons. I specialize in grief, chronic illness, anxiety, depression, and major life transitions—especially when the path forward feels unclear or overwhelming. My approach is warm, collaborative, and deeply validating. I help clients feel truly seen and supported, offering practical tools and gentle guidance to navigate invisible grief, caregiver stress, and the emotional weight of uncertainty. Whether you're holding space for others or learning to hold space for yourself, I create a safe environment where healing, clarity, and empowerment can unfold at your own pace.
In our first session, I’ll offer a calm, welcoming space where you can share what’s been weighing on you—at your own pace. We’ll explore what brings you to therapy, what support looks like for you, and begin identifying goals that feel meaningful and doable. I’ll ask gentle, open-ended questions to understand your story, and you’ll never be rushed or judged. Whether you’re navigating grief, chronic illness, caregiver stress, or emotional overwhelm, you’ll be met with empathy, validation, and practical support from the very start.
What sets my approach apart is the emotional precision and deep empathy I bring to every session. I specialize in validating invisible grief, caregiver stress, and the overwhelm that often accompanies chronic illness and life transitions. My methods blend person-centered warmth with practical tools from CBT, DBT, and motivational interviewing—always tailored to each client’s pace and needs. I create inclusive, neurodiversity-affirming resources that help clients feel seen and supported between sessions. Clients often share that they feel calmer, more empowered, and better able to set boundaries and navigate complexity after working together.
I’m best positioned to support adults and caregivers navigating chronic illness, grief, anxiety, depression, and emotionally complex life transitions. Many of my clients feel overwhelmed, stuck in invisible grief, or unsure how to move forward. Some are neurodivergent or caring for someone who is, and they’re seeking validation, clarity, and practical tools. I specialize in helping people who are emotionally attuned but exhausted—those who’ve been holding it together for others and are finally ready to care for themselves. Whether you’re facing medical stressors, caregiver burnout, or decision fatigue, I offer a space to feel seen, reclaim your voice, and move toward healing with compassion and strength.
I utilize CBT in my practice to help clients notice and shift patterns of thinking that may be contributing to emotional distress.
In my practice, person-centered therapy is the heartbeat of every session. I offer a space where clients feel deeply seen, heard, and valued.
I use motivational interviewing to help clients explore ambivalence with compassion and clarity—especially when navigating chronic illness or major life transitions. Rather than pushing for change, I gently guide clients in uncovering their own values, strengths, and readiness.
