Life has a way of being both breathtakingly beautiful and deeply challenging. Some days feel heavy, and it can seem like you’re just waiting for the hours to pass, only to face another day with the same weight. We all go through difficult times—but we don’t have to let them define us. The fact that you’re here, reading these words, shows that you’ve already taken a meaningful step toward caring for yourself. That matters. Life is undeniably hard, and caring for ourselves can feel just as demanding. Yet one of the quiet gifts of being human is that we sometimes get to choose which challenges we take on. I love coming alongside clients as they navigate stress, anxiety, relationship struggles, and more. Much of my work focuses on anxiety, self-esteem, self-growth, managing change, stress management, goals, coping skills, and women’s issues. I believe you are the expert of your own path, and that within you are many strengths that can help you move through the challenges you face. My role is to walk with you as you talk through those challenges and discover your way forward. My style is relaxed, and at times I may offer educational articles or gentle homework to support your growth. At this time, I work only with adults, and I bring additional training as a Certified Clinical Anxiety Treatment Professional (CCATP). So choose the path that carries hope. Choose the kind of hard that leads to healing, growth, and peace. You deserve care, and it’s always worth beginning with yourself.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session, we’ll take time to talk through your background and anything you feel is important to your goals, along with any relevant medical history. You’re welcome to ask me any questions along the way. Together, we’ll explore what led you to therapy, set meaningful goals, and decide on the frequency of our meetings. I’ll also share any information you need so that you feel comfortable and have a clear understanding of what to expect from our work together.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

What makes our work together unique is the blend of experience I bring and the space I create for you. My background includes supporting people in health insurance case management, behavioral health hospitals, and short-term EAP therapy—but what matters most is how that experience helps me support you. In our sessions, you’ll find a warm, welcoming, and supportive environment where your wants, needs, and goals are at the center. I understand the challenges that can come with family dynamics, relationships, parenthood, anxiety, and connecting with community resources. My role is to walk alongside you, offering guidance and encouragement as you explore your path forward.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I currently only see adults. I am focused on anxiety, life transitions, goal work, coping skills, self-care, and helping you explore how to get where you want to be!

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is a structured, evidence-based form of talk therapy that helps people identify and change unhelpful thought patterns and behaviors to improve emotional well-being and daily functioning. I use exercises from this theory to help clients identify thought patterns, challenge if they are true/false, and change the ones that are not helpful.

Eclectic

I pull from a variety of theories, exercises, and homework assignments to meet a client where they are. What we use in your sessions will vary based on what goals you have for therapy.

Person-centered (Rogerian)

Person-Centered Therapy, developed by psychologist Carl Rogers in the 1940s–50s, is a humanistic approach to counseling that emphasizes the client’s innate capacity for growth and self-healing. Unlike directive therapies, it focuses on creating a supportive environment where individuals can explore themselves freely. I use this method frequently as I strongly believe you have it in yourself to move on the path forward. Sometimes we just need a warm, welcoming space to explore what we truly want and how to get there.

Solution Focused Brief Treatment

Solution-Focused Brief Therapy is a short-term, goal-oriented counseling approach. Unlike traditional therapies that analyze problems in depth, SFBT emphasizes finding practical solutions and building on a client’s existing strengths. Sometimes you just need brief, goal focused time to work on a particular issue, transition, or struggle. SFBT comes in handy for this. I have utilized it many times for more short-term therapy needs.
