New to Grow
I'm a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist in California with 6 years of experience working in the mental health field, including supporting individuals during times of crisis. My approach is compassionate, client-centered, with a focus on helping clients feel supported while building coping skills. I strive to create a space where clients feel safe, understood, and never judged. By combining insight with practical tools, clients often experience increased emotional regulation, relief from anxiety, and a stronger sense of confidence and self-trust.
In our first session together, here's what you can expect
Getting started in therapy can feel like a big step. I begin with a brief 15-minute phone call to answer any questions you may have and ensure we’re a good fit. Our first full session will include going over consent and expectations, identifying your goals for therapy, and creating a safe, collaborative foundation for our work together.
The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions
I support clients in moving beyond simply coping toward creating lasting change. Through a structured yet flexible approach, clients gain clarity, develop healthier responses to stress, and experience relief from emotional overwhelm. Progress is made at a pace that feels safe, intentional, and sustainable.
The clients I'm best positioned to serve
You may feel overwhelmed, stuck in patterns that no longer serve you, or exhausted from carrying so much on your own. Therapy can be a space where you don’t have to have it all figured out—just a place to slow down, feel understood, and begin reconnecting with yourself.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I incorporate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients better understand the connection between their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. Together, we identify unhelpful patterns and develop practical strategies to challenge them, creating space for healthier coping and lasting change. CBT allows our work to feel both supportive and goal-oriented, empowering clients to build skills they can use in everyday life.
EMDR
I am trained in EMDR, an evidence-based approach that helps clients process past experiences that continue to impact their emotional well-being. EMDR can support healing, emotional relief, and a stronger sense of safety in the present.
Dialectical Behavior (DBT)
DBT is one of the approaches I use to support clients in managing intense emotions, improving relationships, and developing healthier coping strategies. This work focuses on balancing acceptance and change, helping clients feel understood while also learning skills to create meaningful, lasting improvements.
