Life can look fine on the outside while feeling overwhelming on the inside. If you are the one holding everything together but feel anxious, burned out, or disconnected from yourself, you do not have to do it alone. I work with adults who are tired of pushing through and ready for real support. As a licensed therapist and U.S. Air Force veteran, I understand pressure, responsibility, and what it is like to always be the strong one. My approach is warm, steady, and practical, focused on helping you make sense of what has been weighing on you and building tools you can use in everyday life to feel calmer and more grounded. I especially enjoy supporting adults navigating stress, burnout, life transitions, relationship challenges, and caregiving demands. Therapy with me is a space where you can exhale, feel understood, and reconnect with yourself while creating meaningful changes that feel realistic and sustainable. I currently have daytime openings this week for adults who are ready for support. If therapy has been on your mind, this may be a good time to take that first step.
In our first session together, here's what you can expect
Therapy with me begins with a conversation, not pressure to perform or have all the answers. I provide a calm, supportive space where clients can move at a pace that feels right for them — whether they’re ready to talk or simply need time to settle in. Through gentle, compassionate questions, I focus on understanding what’s weighing on them and what kind of support would feel most helpful right now. I believe therapy works best as a partnership. You don’t have to carry things alone—I walk alongside you to help you feel seen, supported, and grounded while we create a plan that fits your life and energy. My goal is to help you experience meaningful, lasting change in a way that feels safe, respectful, and sustainable.
The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions
With nearly a decade of experience working with adults, I welcome referrals for individuals seeking thoughtful, supportive therapy during times of stress, transition, or emotional overwhelm. While I have particular experience supporting women and Veterans, my approach centers on meeting each client where they are and honoring the unique circumstances of their lives. I provide a therapeutic space grounded in clarity, stability, and meaningful growth. I work with adults navigating anxiety, burnout, identity changes, life transitions, relationship concerns, and the emotional strain of balancing multiple roles and responsibilities. For veterans, this may also include adjusting to civilian life, processing service-related experiences, managing hypervigilance or moral injury, and rediscovering purpose beyond service. I also support adults who may not share these experiences but feel stuck, overwhelmed, or disconnected and are seeking a path forward.
The clients I'm best positioned to serve
I work with adults who feel overwhelmed, stuck, or disconnected—even when they’re unsure where to begin. Many clients reach out during periods when life feels heavier than usual, whether due to rising anxiety, emotional burnout, unresolved trauma, depressive symptoms, or major life transitions that have shaken their sense of stability or identity. I also have extensive experience supporting military Veterans as they navigate the emotional, relational, and identity challenges that can arise during or after service, including the transition to civilian life, processing high-stress experiences, and reconnecting with a sense of purpose beyond duty. Clients come to therapy for many different reasons. Some are ready to address long-standing patterns that no longer serve them, such as relationship dynamics, boundary struggles, self-criticism, or coping habits. Others are working to rebuild self-trust and confidence after difficult or discouraging experiences. Many simply arrive exhausted from carrying everything on their own and are seeking a space where they don’t have to be strong, composed, or “hold it together.” My role is to help clients slow down and better understand what’s happening beneath the surface—emotionally, mentally, and relationally. Together, we clarify what they want for their lives, explore the beliefs and patterns that may be keeping them stuck, and create a grounded, realistic path forward that feels both meaningful and achievable. My therapeutic style is warm, collaborative, and practical. Our work blends compassion with clear, evidence-based strategies. We explore personal history and relational patterns, gently challenge unhelpful beliefs, and build effective tools for emotional regulation, stress management, and day-to-day coping that can be sustained outside of session. For Veterans, therapy often includes processing service-related experiences, navigating major transitions, strengthening relationships, and reclaiming identity beyond survival mode or constant responsibility. I approach this work with deep respect for lived experience and care tailored to each individual. Across all of my work, my goal is for clients to feel genuinely seen, supported, and empowered—to have a steady space where they can show up as they are and know that it’s enough. I welcome referrals for adults and Veterans seeking thoughtful, grounded therapy and meaningful change. If you’re ready to take the next step with the right support, you don’t have to do it alone. I’m here to walk alongside you as you move toward greater clarity, balance, and confidence.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I offer Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), a supportive and collaborative approach that helps you navigate life’s challenges by gently exploring and reshaping unhelpful thoughts and behaviors. CBT is a practical, empowering method that focuses on building real-life strategies you can use every day—both in and outside of therapy. Together, we’ll work to understand how your thoughts, feelings, and actions are connected, so you can feel more confident, resilient, and in control of your well-being.
Dialectical Behavior (DBT)
With over five years of experience providing Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), I specialize in helping people who feel overwhelmed by their emotions, struggle in relationships, or just want better tools to handle life’s ups and downs. DBT is a powerful blend of acceptance and change, and in our work together, I’ll offer a supportive, nonjudgmental space where you can feel understood and empowered. You’ll learn practical, everyday skills to help you manage stress, communicate more effectively, and create meaningful, lasting change in your life.
Trauma-Focused CBT
I offer Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), a gentle, evidence-based approach that supports children, teens, and their caregivers in healing from the effects of trauma. TF-CBT provides a safe and nurturing space where young people can begin to process what they’ve been through, better understand their emotions, and learn healthy, effective ways to cope. This approach combines practical tools from cognitive behavioral therapy with gradual, supportive steps to reduce symptoms like anxiety, sadness, fear, and behavioral challenges. I work closely with both children and their caregivers—because healing happens best together—to help foster resilience, emotional growth, and lasting well-being.
Strength-Based
I offer Strength-Based Therapy, a supportive and empowering approach that focuses on what makes you strong, not just what’s been difficult. Together, we’ll explore your resilience, your inner resources, and the ways you’ve already grown through life’s challenges—often more than you realize. Instead of focusing on what’s “wrong,” we’ll look at what’s right and build from there. This kind of therapy helps you reconnect with your sense of identity, confidence, and purpose, offering a fresh and hopeful path toward healing and lasting change.
