Hi, I’m so glad you’re here. I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a passion for helping individuals and couples navigate life’s challenges with compassion, clarity, and real tools for change. I specialize in trauma-informed care and have extensive experience working with trauma survivors—whether you’re coping with the effects of childhood abuse, relationship trauma, betrayal, or other overwhelming life experiences. My approach integrates evidence-based methods like EMDR, CBT, ACT, and Somatic Therapy to help you safely process the past, reconnect with your sense of self, and move forward with confidence. I work from a place of warmth, safety, and deep respect for your journey—creating a space where healing is not rushed, but gently supported. Whether you're struggling with anxiety, depression, or emotional numbness, or you're simply longing to feel whole again, I’m here to walk alongside you. Together, we’ll uncover your strength and build a more grounded, empowered life.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

Your first session is all about creating a space where you feel safe, seen, and heard. We’ll start by getting to know each other—you’re welcome to share as much or as little as feels comfortable. I’ll ask some questions to better understand your background, current concerns, and what brings you to therapy, but there’s no pressure to have all the answers. This is a collaborative process, and we’ll move at your pace. Together, we’ll begin to identify your goals and discuss what therapy can look like moving forward, including approaches that may be a good fit for your needs. Most importantly, the first session is about building trust and helping you feel at ease. It’s okay to come with uncertainty, big emotions, or even questions about how therapy works—that’s all welcome here.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

One of my greatest strengths as a therapist is my ability to hold space with deep empathy, while also guiding clients toward real, lasting change. I bring a calm, grounding presence that helps clients feel safe enough to explore even the most painful parts of their story—without judgment, pressure, or shame. What sets me apart is my integrative, trauma-informed approach that combines powerful evidence-based methods like EMDR, CBT, ACT, and Somatic Therapy in a way that is personalized to each client’s needs. I don’t just focus on symptom management—I help clients reconnect with their inner strength, process unresolved trauma, and move forward with greater clarity, confidence, and emotional freedom. Clients often share that they feel truly understood in our work together, and many have gone from feeling hopeless or stuck to thriving in ways they never thought possible. I am deeply committed to your healing, and I walk alongside you every step of the way with compassion, skill, and unwavering support.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I’m best suited to support individuals and couples who are ready to do meaningful, transformative work. My ideal clients are often navigating the lasting impact of trauma, anxiety, depression, or relationship struggles, and they’re looking not just for relief, but for real healing. Many are high-functioning yet emotionally overwhelmed, feeling stuck in patterns that no longer serve them. Others are survivors of childhood or relational trauma, seeking a safe space to process their experiences and reclaim their sense of self. I have also had the privilege of walking alongside clients who have come close to giving up—struggling with suicidal thoughts or deep despair—and with time, trust, and support, they are now thriving, living fuller and more connected lives. I work well with clients who are motivated to understand themselves on a deeper level and are open to exploring both the mind and body in the healing process. Whether you're looking to rebuild trust, manage emotional triggers, or live more fully in alignment with your values, I’m here to support you every step of the way.

My treatment methods

EMDR

My therapy practice offers a focused and empowering experience using EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), an evidence based method designed to help clients process and release the emotional weight of trauma, anxiety, and depression. EMDR allows the brain to reprocess distressing memories in a safe and structured way, helping you gain relief from the symptoms that have held you back. In our work together, we combine EMDR with compassionate, client-centered care to guide you through meaningful breakthroughs and long-lasting change.

Couples Counseling

At Solutions to Thrive, our approach to couples counseling is rooted in evidence-based methods and years of experience helping partners reconnect, heal, and grow together. We understand that relationships face challenges—from communication breakdowns to deep ruptures of trust—and our therapy sessions are designed to guide couples through these struggles with compassion and structure. Our treatment method emphasizes emotional awareness, active listening, and conflict resolution skills, while also providing education on healthy communication patterns and tools to rebuild trust. By creating a safe space for honest dialogue and emotional repair, we help couples rediscover connection, strengthen their bond, and build a more secure and fulfilling partnership.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

As a therapist with extensive experience in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, I work collaboratively with clients to help them understand the connection between their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. CBT is a structured, solution-focused approach that empowers you to challenge negative thinking patterns and develop healthier responses to life’s stressors. Whether you're struggling with anxiety, depression, or low self-esteem, I’ll guide you through practical tools and personalized strategies to help you feel more in control and confident in your everyday life. Together, we’ll focus on meaningful change that leads to lasting results.

Acceptance and commitment (ACT)

Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT): In my practice, I also utilize Acceptance and Commitment Therapy to help clients move through emotional pain with greater self-compassion and clarity. ACT focuses on helping you accept what’s out of your control while committing to actions that align with your values. If you’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or disconnected from your purpose, ACT provides a powerful path forward. We’ll work together to help you become more mindful, emotionally flexible, and empowered to create a fulfilling life—even in the face of challenges. This approach is especially effective for anxiety, life transitions, trauma recovery, and stress management.

Somatic

At Solutions to Thrive, I deeply honor the connection between the mind and body, which is why I incorporate Somatic Therapy into my work with clients. With experience in this body-centered approach, I help individuals become more attuned to the physical sensations that often carry the unspoken weight of trauma, anxiety, and chronic stress. Somatic Therapy allows us to gently explore how emotional pain shows up in the body—through tension, numbness, or restlessness—and use mindful techniques like breathwork, grounding, and movement to release it. This approach recognizes that healing isn’t just about talking—it’s about listening to what the body has been holding and giving it a safe space to express and let go. My goal is to guide you toward a deeper sense of safety, presence, and connection with yourself, so that healing feels not only possible but fully embodied.
