New to Grow
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, who is well rounded and trained to look at the whole picture; your mental health, relationships, environment, and life circumstances, so therapy isn’t just about symptoms, but about real-life change. I understand how family dynamics, work, community, and culture impact well-being, and can help you navigate these systems effectively. I enjoy working with individuals, couples and families.
Upon completing intake to get more background information about you, I’ll ask about your history, current concerns, and what you hope to achieve through therapy. Our first session will be geared towards expectations and building that therapeutic alliance to form a safe space and identify what your goals will be and how we will go about working towards those goals. Together, we’ll explore your strengths and resources, and begin to identify practical steps to support positive change.
Every clients treatment looks different and I tailor it based on your needs, your personality, support system, strengths and weaknesses as well as collaborating to identify what works for you.
I am best positioned to serve individuals, couples, and families who are looking to improve communication, navigate life transitions, manage stress or anxiety, and strengthen their relationships. I work with clients who are motivated to understand their emotions, challenge unhelpful patterns, and create meaningful change in their lives. My practice is a good fit for those who value a collaborative, supportive approach and are ready to build practical skills, uncover their strengths, and work toward personal growth and healthier connections
My work centers on helping partners identify unspoken emotions, learn to express themselves openly, and rebuild trust in a safe and supportive environment. I guide couples in recognizing unhealthy cycles, developing practical tools to manage conflict, and fostering a stronger sense of teamwork.
In my practice, I use EFT to guide couples in identifying the underlying emotions driving conflict and disconnection, and then support them in expressing those feelings in ways that invite closeness rather than distance. By slowing down conversations and exploring each partner’s inner experience, I help couples shift from cycles of blame or withdrawal into moments of openness, vulnerability, and responsiveness.
I use Narrative Therapy to help clients identify the dominant narratives that may be limiting their growth such as beliefs about anger, relationships, or self-worth and uncover alternative stories that highlight resilience, strengths, and values.
By combining insight with action, CBT empowers clients to break free from cycles of self-doubt, emotional overwhelm, and unproductive behaviors. I tailor this approach to each person’s unique needs, ensuring that therapy feels collaborative, focused, and directly applicable to the challenges they are facing.
For the clients who want solution based short term therapy, I use SFBT to help individuals, couples, and families identify their goals, clarify what “better” looks like for them, and take practical steps toward achieving those outcomes. Through techniques such as scaling questions, future-focused conversations, and highlighting past successes, I support clients in recognizing their own capacity for change and growth
