LMFT, 6 years of experience
New to Grow
Hi! I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the states of California and Arizona. I gained valuable experience working in schools and community mental health clinics, honing my skills in providing individual therapy and parent-child therapy. I have a passion for helping individuals, parents, and children/teens create stronger, healthier relationships—both with others and themselves. I tailor each session to your unique needs. My style is warm, collaborative, and practical, blending insight into the roots of your struggles with clear, actionable tools for change.
I understand coming in for the first appointment can be a little daunting. No worries, I completely understand and have been in your shoes before! In the initial session, I will be asking a lot of questions. This is to get to know you better, and it will not be like this every session! I will be gathering background information regarding your reason for seeking therapy, your health, previous therapy experiences, school, work, relationships, and family history. I will also answer any questions you may have about my experience/training and background, or therapy in general. If we are a good fit together, we will collaborate on treatment goals and begin our therapy journey together!
My approach blends compassion with practical strategies, drawing from attachment-based therapy, CBT, mindfulness, play therapy, and Parent-Child Interaction Therapy. In our work together, we’ll create a safe space for understanding your story and finding new ways forward that feel both meaningful and doable. I promise to bring a warm, compassionate, and non-judgmental space during your work together to allow you to feel safe and supported during your therapy experience. I can't wait to meet you!
I specializes in working with children (infants, preschool, and school-age), teenagers, young adults, and the perinatal/postpartum population. You might be my ideal client if you’re open to trying new ways of thinking, feeling, and connecting. Maybe you’ve been feeling stuck in patterns you can’t seem to break, navigating relationship stress, or struggling with anxiety or parenting challenges. Maybe you are a student who is having a hard time adjusting to school, or new life transitions. Whether you’re a young adult, child/teen, or parent, you value a therapist who will listen without judgment, guide with compassion, and offer clear, evidence-based strategies to help you grow. If that sounds like you, we may be a great fit.
If attachment based is a good fit for our work together, child/teen or adult, we will work establishing a secure based and providing a corrective relational experiences, modeling safety, consistency, and emotional attunement.
If CBT is a good fit for our work together, using CBT will help guide you to identify and challenge unhelpful thoughts that influence emotions and behavior and help you track unhelpful patterns that are impacting your current life.
I have experience with both Child Parent Psychotherapy, as well as Parent-Child Interaction therapy. If this is a good fit, I will work with caregivers and young children (usually ages 0–7) to strengthen their relationship and improve child behavior by using live coaching and building your positive parenting skills.
In this method, we incorporate guided mindfulness practices like breath awareness, body scans, mindful movement, and sensory grounding can better help you manage your emotions and stressors. Using this method can help you (or your child) develop the skill of present-moment awareness without judgment.
