Hi! I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) / Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) who helps individuals navigate life’s challenges with understanding, practical strategies, and a supportive space to grow. My approach is compassionate, down-to-earth, and focused on helping you gain clarity, confidence, and peace of mind as you work toward lasting change through different seasons of your life. Together, we’ll build tools that fit your life and support lasting emotional wellness.
In our first session, we’ll take time to get to know you, what’s been going on, what’s brought you to therapy, and what you hope to gain from it. I’ll ask a few questions to better understand your goals and background, but the focus is on creating a comfortable, judgment-free space where you can speak freely. Together, we’ll outline your next steps and begin building a plan that fits your needs and pace.
My approach combines evidence-based methods like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution-Focused Therapy with a calm, client-centered style. I believe therapy should feel practical and supportive, not clinical or intimidating. Sessions often include real-world strategies, gentle challenges, and space for reflection. Many clients say they appreciate my ability to make complex emotions feel easier to understand helping them walk away with tools they can actually use to feel lighter, clearer, and more confident in everyday life.
I work best with adults who are ready to make real changes but may feel overwhelmed, anxious, or stuck trying to do it all. Many of my clients are navigating life transitions, relationship struggles, burnout, or self-doubt and want a safe, judgment-free space to unpack what’s going on. My goal is to help you better understand your thoughts and emotions, build healthy coping tools, and feel more grounded, confident, and in control of your life.

Anxiety tends to keep you either stuck ruminating about the past or worried about the future , Mindfulness strategies helps you stay within the "here and now" focused on the present to help you cope better with unwanted circumstances and emotions.
Over a decade of experience with MI (motivational interviewing) simply put , I plan to meet you exactly where you are in your healing process , we will create realistic goals to help increase your "change talk " and motivation or as I like to word it "momentum" towards change .
Possibly you're going through an adjustment period and needing support to help you transition through whatever issue that you may be facing, evaluating your goals and its effectiveness is key here . SFBT (solution focus brief treatment) helps keep you on the path to achieve your goals by first defining the problem , then its options and solutions , next evaluating the effectiveness of those solutions and if necessary head back to the drawing board for new approaches or otherwise continue on! I want to help guide you through this process as we detail plans and weigh the pros and cons.
