I am a graduate of Springfield College and have been in the mental health profession since 2015. I work well with individuals with anxiety, depression, and I am also a Christian counselor. I have an eclectic approach in therapy to meet the needs of my patients. I create a warm atmosphere by making my patients relax, which brings about a sense of peace at the end of the day, meaning, helping one is to save a generation.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

Your first counseling session is a chance for us to get to know each other and for you to share what’s bringing you in. We’ll talk about what’s been on your mind, what you’d like to work on, and any questions or concerns you may have about the process. I’ll ask about your history, current situation, and what’s been most challenging for you lately. We’ll also go over important information such as confidentiality, boundaries, and how our sessions will work. This is a collaborative conversation, not an interrogation so you can share at your own pace and comfort level. By the end of the session, we’ll start outlining your goals and a plan for how we can work toward them together. My aim is for you to leave feeling heard, supported, and clear about our next steps.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

trust and safety: allowing clients to open up about difficult truths. It helps the counselor see beyond words, catching the emotions, patterns, and needs that might be hidden. nonjudgmental space: where clients feel accepted as they are, which is often the first step toward change.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I work best with individuals who are ready to take meaningful steps toward change, even if they’re not sure exactly how that will look yet. My ideal client may be navigating challenges such as anxiety, depression, life transitions, relationship difficulties, or feeling “stuck” in old patterns. They value a safe, nonjudgmental space where they can be heard and understood. They may come in feeling overwhelmed, uncertain, or disconnected, but they hold a willingness, however small, to explore new perspectives and develop healthier coping skills. Our work together focuses on helping them clarify what they truly want, develop the tools to get there, and learn to trust themselves in the process. My approach blends empathy with practical strategies, so clients leave each session feeling supported, equipped, and encouraged. Whether the goal is emotional healing, better communication, or increased self-confidence, I am committed to partnering with my clients as they move toward greater peace, clarity, and self-awareness.

My treatment methods

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

Clients has come to understand that Acceptance of current reality : They can acknowledge and make peace with what is happening right now, without denial or fighting reality. Need for change : At the same time, they can recognize that improvement or change is possible and necessary in some areas.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

When I felt panic rising today, I used the 5-4-3-2-1 grounding method. It didn’t erase my anxiety, but it kept me from spiraling and helped me think more clearly.
