(she/her)
I’m a licensed psychologist (PhD) specializing in autism, ADHD, and complex patterns in both children and adults. I work with thoughtful individuals and parents who feel stuck, overwhelmed, or like something isn’t fully adding up—especially when traditional approaches haven’t helped. My approach is warm, direct, and insight-driven. I don’t just listen—I help you understand patterns, make sense of what’s going on, and figure out what actually works for your brain (or your child’s). I’m neurodiversity-affirming and experienced in differentiating anxiety, burnout, ADHD, and sensory or social overwhelm. With parents, I focus on helping you understand your child more clearly and respond in ways that actually work—so things feel more manageable at home. Sessions are collaborative, practical, and focused on meaningful change.
In our first session, we’ll start by getting a clear picture of what’s been going on and what feels most important to you. I’ll ask thoughtful questions and begin identifying patterns that may be contributing to what you’re experiencing. This is also a chance for you to get a feel for how I work. Many clients find it helpful to have someone who can not only listen, but also offer clarity and perspective early on.
With nearly two decades of experience, I bring both depth of clinical knowledge and a nuanced, individualized approach. What stands out about my work is the ability to see patterns quickly and help clients make sense of complex experiences—especially when things have felt unclear or mislabeled in the past. I balance warmth and validation with thoughtful insight and practical strategies, helping clients feel understood while also moving forward in a meaningful way.
I work best with thoughtful, capable individuals and parents who feel stuck, overwhelmed, or like something isn’t fully adding up. This includes those navigating autism, ADHD, burnout, anxiety, or complex patterns that don’t fit neatly into one diagnosis. Many of my clients are self-aware but want deeper clarity, practical strategies, and a better understanding of how their (or their child’s) mind works.
Compassion Focused
I use Compassion-Focused Therapy to help clients build a kinder, more understanding relationship with themselves. Many neurodivergent people have spent years feeling misunderstood or pressured to hide parts of who they are. I also incorporate Mindful Self-Compassion practices, which help you notice your experiences with curiosity and respond to yourself with care instead of criticism. Together, we work on easing shame, supporting emotional regulation, and creating a greater sense of safety and self-acceptance.
Solution Focused Brief Treatment
Solution-Focused Therapy is a practical, strengths-based approach that focuses on what’s working and how to build on it. Rather than spending sessions stuck in problems, we collaborate on clear goals and small, doable steps forward. This style works especially well for clients who appreciate clarity, flexibility, and tools they can use in everyday life. Our work is collaborative and hopeful, with an emphasis on progress, autonomy, and sustainable change.
