Are you looking for someone to truly hear you—and help you move forward? Whatever you’re facing, therapy with me can offer a space to breathe, reflect, and begin again—with support that’s steady and skillful. As a licensed therapist with experience in both therapeutic and corporate coaching settings, I specialize in helping individuals and couples move from feeling overwhelmed to empowered. Here’s how I support my clients: 1. Finding Relief from Stress and Anxiety If you’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or uncertain, you’re not alone. Together, we’ll make sense of what you’re experiencing and create practical strategies that bring calm, clarity, and hope. 2. Making Sense of Work Struggles With years of corporate experience in leadership and coaching, I am here to support your challenges at work. Whether you’re facing burnout, a job change, or workplace tension, I help you unpack what’s going on, clarify your values, and move forward with purpose and confidence. 3. Strengthening Relationships I support couples who want to reconnect, communicate more effectively, or heal after difficult moments. Using proven tools and a warm, nonjudgmental approach, I help partners grow closer and stronger. For years, I’ve had the privilege of supporting individuals and couples through some of life’s most difficult and defining moments. Clients often share how seen, safe, and empowered they feel in our work together. That’s not by accident—it’s the result of deep clinical training, years of lived experience, and a wholehearted commitment to each person’s growth. My approach is warm, grounded, and practical. Together, we’ll work at your pace to uncover clarity, build resilience, and take meaningful steps forward. I offer flexible appointment times—including daytime, evening, and weekend availability. Finding the right therapeutic fit matters. If you’re ready to begin, I’d be honored to be part of your journey—on your terms, at your pace.
From your very first session, you’ll experience the transformative impact of effective therapy. Our first therapy session is an opportunity for us to get to know each other, establish trust, set goals, and lay the foundation for a successful therapeutic relationship. It's normal for you to feel a mix of emotions, including nervousness and relief, during this initial session, but I strive to create a supportive and nonjudgmental space where you can feel heard and understood. We begin therapy by providing an overview of the therapy process. You may be asked to complete paperwork, such as consent forms or intake questionnaires, to gather essential information about your background, current concerns, and goals for therapy. I want you to feel safe to share your thoughts and feelings. Overall, I will seek to understand your presenting issues, history, and goals for therapy. We may look at the your current symptoms, past experiences, family dynamics, and any previous therapy or treatment. The therapy goals we establish will serve as a roadmap for guiding the therapeutic process and measuring progress over time. You will be invited to ask any questions or express any concerns you may have about therapy. Towards the end of the session, I will summarize the key points discussed and collaborate with you to schedule future sessions.
As a doctoral-level clinician, I bring deep expertise across both personal growth and workplace dynamics. I specialize in helping adults and couples get unstuck and back on track—fast. With a grounded, no-nonsense approach (and just the right amount of humor), I focus on helping you make real progress in the areas that matter most. I don’t believe in therapy that drifts or stalls. Instead, I provide practical tools and evidence-based strategies designed to turn insight into action. Here’s what you can expect in our work together: • The DISC Assessment – You’ll gain immediate clarity on your communication style, strengths, and blind spots—essential knowledge for navigating both relationships and professional environments. • The Emotional Intelligence (EQ) Assessment – Offered by request, this gives you a personalized view into how you manage emotions and relationships, with strategies to strengthen both. • Coaching Worksheets – You’ll receive fillable, step-by-step tools that help you work through challenges and track your growth between sessions. Therapy with me is active, focused, and tailored to your life. Whether you’re facing relationship strain, life transitions, or workplace challenges, we’ll use every session to build clarity, resilience, and meaningful change.
I help clients who are ready to face life’s challenges head-on, whether they’re dealing with transitions, career stress, relationship strains, or inner conflicts. If life has thrown challenges your way, we’ll work together to build your strength, courage, and resolve to move forward. Through deep, meaningful conversations, we’ll examine your options and identify new paths, while fostering skills that empower you to overcome obstacles. My ideal clients are those who value self-reflection and are committed to personal growth. Together, we will create actionable strategies to help you manage life’s difficulties, improve resilience, and unlock your potential for a more fulfilling life.
Feeling anxious or overwhelmed? You’re not alone—and you don’t have to go through it alone. I’m here to help you quiet the noise, ease your anxiety, and find more peace in your everyday life. Together, we’ll work to understand what’s fueling your worry and build practical tools that bring real relief. Through Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), we'll explore how your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors are connected, empowering you to take control of your mental health. Together, we’ll identify negative thought patterns and challenge them with evidence, building positive self-talk to replace unhelpful beliefs. You’ll learn useful coping tools such as: Cognitive Restructuring: Identify and challenge negative thoughts to develop more balanced perspectives. Behavioral Activation: Incorporate enjoyable activities into your routine to boost mood and reduce anxiety. Relaxation Techniques: Use strategies like deep breathing and progressive muscle relaxation to calm physical anxiety symptoms. Problem-Solving: Break down challenges into manageable steps to reduce overwhelm. Assertiveness Training: Improve communication and self-confidence in expressing your needs. Each session will involve actionable steps, and you’ll have homework to reinforce these skills between sessions. We’ll also focus on relapse prevention and help you prepare for potential setbacks, so you feel equipped to manage future challenges. If you're struggling with insomnia, CBT techniques for sleep can also be included in your treatment. Let’s work together to build a calmer, more fulfilling life.
I believe in helping you make rapid progress. I know that taking the first step toward therapy can feel overwhelming, but I’m here to make the process as supportive and effective as possible. I am trained in Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), a results-driven approach designed to help you achieve meaningful change quickly. Rather than dwelling on past challenges, we’ll focus on your strengths, resources, and the concrete steps you can take to move forward. My goal is to help you find solutions that work for you—so you can start seeing progress and feeling better, faster. I've honed my skills in SFBT at The University of Chicago and have been using this approach successfully for years. Here's how it goes down: we start by setting crystal-clear goals that you can actually achieve. These goals are all about what you want to accomplish in therapy and how you want to change your life for the better. Together, we'll uncover your strengths, resources, and past victories – because trust me, you've got plenty of 'em! We'll brainstorm goals, preferences, and potential solutions to your current challenges, all while boosting your self-confidence and motivation along the way. And when it's time to put those plans into action, we'll make sure they're practical, doable, and totally tailored to you. If we hit any roadblocks, no worries – we'll tackle them head-on, making adjustments as needed to keep things moving forward. This is a team effort, so your goals and preferences are always front and center. And as you start crushing those goals, we'll get you ready to wrap up therapy while making sure you've got the tools to maintain your progress long-term. That might mean brainstorming potential hurdles and putting in place strategies to keep you on track. So, if you're ready to dive in and start seeing real change, let's make it happen together with Solution-Focused Brief Treatment.
Welcome to couples therapy! Every relationship--your relationship--has its unique challenges, and I’m here to support you in building a stronger, healthier connection. In my practice, I integrate evidence-based techniques from the Gottman Method, developed by Drs. John and Julie Gottman. With substantial Gottman training and experience, I guide couples through proven strategies to enhance communication, navigate conflict with understanding, and foster deeper intimacy. My goal is to create a safe, supportive space where both partners feel heard and empowered to grow together. The Gottman Method focuses on improving interactions by fostering friendship, managing disagreements constructively, and creating shared meaning in the relationship. Key tools you will use include exercises to enhance positive interactions, build trust, and understand each partner’s needs and emotional triggers. This structured approach helps couples address challenges with greater empathy and respect, ultimately cultivating a resilient, satisfying partnership. Using these tools alongside the Family DISC Assessment and Solution-Focused Couples Counseling, I create a balanced approach that addresses immediate relationship goals while laying the groundwork for long-term relational health. Let's find out together how to make your relationship an amazing experience for both of you!
