About me

Hi, I’m Gina Aiello, a Licensed Professional Counselor in Ohio, Pennsylvania, and North Carolina, and a National Certified Counselor. I work with adults and young adults who are learning how to navigate life with ADHD and all the challenges and strengths that come with it. If you’ve ever felt like your brain just works differently - jumping from one thought to another, forgetting things that matter, or getting stuck in cycles of overwhelm and guilt, you’re not alone! I get how frustrating it can be to know you’re capable, but still struggle to stay focused or follow through. In our sessions, my goal is to help you feel safe, heard, and understood. There’s no judgment here, just curiosity, compassion, and a lot of real talk. We’ll figure out what’s actually getting in your way and build strategies that make sense for you (not some one-size-fits-all plan from a book). I believe therapy should feel like a space where you can exhale. Where you don’t have to perform or pretend you’ve got it all together. You just get to show up as you are, and we’ll take it from there. If you’re ready to start feeling more grounded, confident, and in control of your own rhythm, I’d love to work with you ◡̈

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session, we’ll focus on getting to know each other and understanding what brings you to therapy. I’ll ask questions about your current concerns, history, and goals, but we’ll move at a pace that feels comfortable for you. his is your space to share openly - no pressure, no judgment. We will also talk about how future session will look. By the end of the session, we’ll begin shaping a plan tailored to your needs, so you leave with a sense of direction and hope for what’s ahead.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

What sets my approach apart is the balance of practical, actionable strategies with genuine emotional support. For clients with ADHD, I focus on creating systems that work with their unique brain wiring, not against it, while addressing the self-criticism and burnout that often come along for the ride. I draw from evidence-based methods, such as cognitive-behavioral techniques, mindfulness, and solution-focused strategies, to help clients make steady, meaningful progress. My clients often share that they feel understood, equipped with new tools, and more confident in their ability to navigate life’s challenges.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I’m best positioned to work with adults who are ready to better understand themselves and create meaningful changes in their daily lives. Many of my clients are navigating ADHD, anxiety, relationship challenges, or major life transitions, and are seeking practical strategies as well as emotional support. Whether you’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or simply wanting to build healthier habits and stronger self-confidence, I offer a collaborative space where we can work toward your goals together.
