Hi, I’m Yvonne. If you’ve found your way here, you may be moving through a difficult or transitional season. Please know—it's okay. Hard moments often become the doorway to deep transformation when we allow ourselves to slow down, feel, and truly listen to what’s beneath the pain. I’m here to walk beside you as you navigate that journey, wherever it leads. My approach is person-centered, collaborative, and grounded in warmth and respect for your unique story. Through a gentle psychodynamic lens, I explore how past experiences and unmet needs may be shaping your emotions, patterns, and relationships today. Together, we’ll create space for the parts of you longing to be seen, heard, and understood. I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with experience supporting individuals through anxiety, depression, trauma, bipolar disorder, grief, anger, teen and family concerns, spiritual exploration, suicidal ideation, and self-harm. I offer video telehealth sessions through Grow Therapy. Above all, my goal is to provide a safe, compassionate place to explore the deeper matters of the heart. Many of us carry an inner child still waiting to be acknowledged and freed. Doing this work isn’t always easy, but it can be profoundly life-changing. I’ve walked through my own wilderness seasons—and they’ve shaped me with love, endurance, and hope. That same hope is what I offer you. If this resonates with you, I’d be honored to join you on this beautiful and transformational journey. Blessings, and I hope to meet you soon.
In our first session together, here's what you can expect
In our first session, we’ll begin with simple introductions and create a comfortable space for you to settle in. I will invite you to share your story in whatever way feels natural—what has brought you to this point in your healing journey, what you’re hoping for, and what you feel you need right now. From there, I will ask a few open-ended questions to better understand your experiences, strengths, and challenges. Together, we will begin outlining a personalized treatment plan that reflects your goals, values, and the direction you want to move toward. This collaborative roadmap will guide our future sessions and ensure that the work we do is tailored to your unique needs and pace.
The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions
I show up to this work exactly as I am—grounded, genuine, and present—and this creates space for my clients to do the same. I believe wholeheartedly that inner healing is possible, no matter what you have walked through or may still be facing. I believe the inner child can be restored, nurtured, and empowered as you journey through the deeper layers of your heart. I see every client as precious, unique, and deeply valuable. Your story matters, your pain matters, and your healing matters. I also approach my work from a Christ-centered foundation and honor your personal walk of faith, meeting you with compassion, empathy, and respect for your spiritual journey.
The clients I'm best positioned to serve
I am passionate about working with adults and adolescents who have experienced various forms of trauma—those who no longer want to remain anchored in the past or overwhelmed by the future, but who long to learn, live, and fully thrive in the present. I’m here for individuals who feel “stuck” and are seeking the inner freedom that comes from stepping into healing, truth, and light. I welcome and honor each person’s spiritual journey, meeting you exactly where you are with openness, compassion, and empathy. Whether your faith is deeply rooted or still evolving. I hope to meet you soon. God bless.
Trauma-Focused CBT
I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients recognize, understand, and modify thought patterns that contribute to emotional or psychological distress.
Christian Counseling
I welcome and encourage clients to openly share their perspectives and experiences through a biblical lens, honoring the role their faith plays in their healing journey.
Psychodynamic
I incorporate a Psychodynamic Therapy approach to support clients in developing a deeper understanding of their emotions and internal processes. By exploring the underlying or “core” issues beneath current patterns, clients can gain clearer insight into their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors, allowing for more meaningful and lasting change.
