Cognitive Behavior Therapy for Suicide Prevention (CBT-SP)
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is a structured, evidence-based form of psychotherapy that helps individuals identify and challenge unhelpful thoughts and behaviors, and replace them with more constructive patterns. It is commonly used to treat a wide range of mental health conditions, including depression, anxiety disorders, PTSD, and phobias, by teaching coping strategies and problem-solving skills to improve emotional regulation and overall functioning.
EMDR
Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) is a psychotherapy approach used primarily to treat trauma and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). It involves helping individuals process distressing memories by using guided eye movements or other forms of bilateral stimulation while the person recalls traumatic experiences. This process is believed to reduce the emotional intensity of the memories and support more adaptive coping and resolution.
