Hi! I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) based in California. I received both my Master and Bachelors in social work from California State University, Fresno. I have been practicing for 5 years. I have worked with all demographics of clients, such as: adults (all ages), children (ages 5-18), veterans, foster youth and juveniles. I am open and willingly to see almost all clients - please just reach out.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session together, we'll start with brief introductions, confidentiality, then dive into the specific challenges you're facing. This will help me better understand and for us to come up with appropriate treatment plan.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

Over the past 5 years, I have continued to grow and develop as a therapist. I am empathetic, self-aware, active listener, warm, open, emotionally intelligent, authentic, empathetic and culturally competent.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

I am open to working with all types of clients who are in need of a safe space to talk who sits on a non-biased fence. I am here to push my clients to be the better version of themselves. This can range from boosting self-esteem, processing trauma, improving life functioning, improving social functioning, improving educational functioning, improving interpersonal functioning and understanding anxiety/depression symptoms,

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

helps individuals change their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors by identifying and challenging negative thought patterns and learning new coping strategies. It's a structured, goal-oriented therapy that focuses on the present and the impact of current problems.

Strength-Based

a therapeutic approach that focuses on an individual's strengths, resources, and resilience rather than their weaknesses or problems. It aims to empower individuals by helping them identify, develop, and utilize their inherent strengths to overcome challenges and improve their well-being.

Mindfulness-Based Therapy

form of talk therapy that incorporates mindfulness practices to help individuals become more aware of their thoughts, feelings, and bodily sensations in the present moment, without judgment or reactivity. It can be used to treat various mental and physical health conditions and improve overall daily functioning.

Psychodynamic

a form of talk therapy that explores the unconscious mind, past experiences, and relationships to understand current behaviors and emotions. It aims to help individuals gain self-awareness, identify patterns, and resolve conflicts that may be influencing their lives.

Solution Focused Brief Treatment

a short-term, evidence-based psychotherapeutic approach that focuses on identifying and building upon clients' strengths and resources to achieve desired outcomes.
