New to Grow
I’m a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with a deep passion for helping others heal, grow, and reconnect with themselves. With over a decade of clinical experience, I bring warmth, empathy, and a calm presence into every session. Clients often describe me as caring, grounded, and approachable. Someone who listens without judgment and offers support with compassion and clarity. My professional journey has been dedicated to supporting children, adolescents, adults, families, and caregivers, particularly those who have experienced trauma or abuse. I’m also a certified Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapist and a Qualified Supervisor, guiding both clients and fellow clinicians with care and intention.
You can expect to leave sessions feeling more empowered, understood, and supported. My goal is for every client to walk away with a stronger sense of self, increased emotional awareness, and tangible skills to navigate life’s challenges. Over time, clients often experience a renewed sense of confidence, improved relationships, and greater clarity in how they want to move forward. Whether you're seeking healing from trauma, support in parenting, or simply a space to process life’s complexities, I am here to walk alongside you with warmth, knowledge, and care.
With over a decade of experience my therapeutic approach is collaborative, respectful, and tailored to your individual needs. I believe in creating a safe, supportive environment where you can feel secure enough to explore your thoughts and emotions. My style is relational, and strengths based. I help clients identify and build on what’s already working while also gently addressing challenges that may be getting in the way. I draw from evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), EMDR, and incorporate mindfulness, psychoeducation, and practical tools to help clients regulate emotions, process difficult experiences, and develop healthy coping strategies. I also bring structure and consistency to our work while staying flexible to what you need each day.
I work with individuals facing a wide range of life stressors. My speciality is in supporting individuals impacted by trauma, often from childhood, who are seeking healing, safety, and self-understanding. They may struggle with anxiety, depression, low self-worth, or relationship difficulties. Whether child, teen, or adult, they long to break free from pain and patterns that keep them stuck. They want to feel seen, heard, and empowered. Their goals are to process the past, build coping tools, set healthy boundaries, and reconnect with their authentic self so they can live with confidence, joy, and a sense of wholeness.
I am certified in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), a highly effective, evidence-based treatment for children and adolescents impacted by trauma. I have used TF-CBT in my practice for several years to help young clients process traumatic experiences, reduce PTSD symptoms, and build healthy coping skills. I guide both the child and their caregiver through structured components such as psychoeducation, relaxation, cognitive coping, trauma narration, and safety planning. TF-CBT allows me to create a supportive, healing environment where children feel empowered to regain a sense of control and resilience.
CBT is an evidence-based approach used to treat a wide range of emotional and behavioral challenges. In my practice, I use CBT to help clients identify and reframe unhelpful thought patterns, develop healthier coping strategies, and make meaningful behavioral changes. Whether addressing anxiety, depression, or trauma-related concerns, CBT provides clients with practical tools to understand the connection between their thoughts, feelings, and actions, empowering them to take an active role in their healing journey.
I utilize an attachment-based approach to support clients in understanding how early relationships shape emotional development, self-worth, and current relational patterns. This method is especially helpful when working with children, families, and individuals who have experienced relational trauma, neglect, or disrupted bonds. In my practice, I focus on building a safe, secure therapeutic relationship that fosters trust, emotional attunement, and healing. I also work with caregivers to strengthen attachment and enhance connection, helping to create more supportive and resilient family systems.
In my practice, I use CPT to help clients identify and challenge unhelpful beliefs related to their trauma, such as guilt, shame, or self-blame. Through structured sessions, clients learn to reframe these thoughts and develop a more balanced and empowering understanding of their experiences. CPT is a powerful tool in supporting trauma survivors as they move toward healing and reclaiming their lives.
I am trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), an evidence-based therapy used to help clients process and heal from trauma and distressing life experiences. EMDR works by activating the brain’s natural healing processes through bilateral stimulation, such as eye movements, to reduce the emotional intensity of traumatic memories. In my practice, I use EMDR to help clients access, reprocess, and integrate these memories in a way that supports relief from symptoms like anxiety, flashbacks, and negative self-beliefs. EMDR can be a powerful tool for helping clients move forward with greater clarity, stability, and resilience.
