I provide therapy to adults, teens and children of all ages. Sessions with me are client lead, but I can be firm for those who may need a nurturing push. LaTonya Jones is a board certified Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Virginia. She has a BS in Criminal Justice from Old Dominion University and a MS in Counseling Studies from Capella University. She has over 25 years of experience in Mental Health. LaTonya’s area of interest is empowering Women and teenage Girls. She has worked with adults, teens, couples and families. LaTonya provides a range of therapeutic and psychotherapy services to include depression, anxiety, PTSD, stress, adjustment disorders, grief and loss, addiction, life transitions and anger management. LaTonya strives to empower her clients to ultimately arrive at a place of emotional and mental stability. LaTonya encourages her clients through use of autonomy to recognize their resilience and their ability to overcome all types of challenges. Through rapport building, LaTonya creates a safe and trusting environment that allows the client to “Trust the Process” and “Show themselves Grace”.

Peace, I’m Dyamon Unique, LCSW, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker based in Virginia. I have been practicing in the mental health field for over 8 years. I have a variety of areas of expertise to include anxiety, depression, perinatal, and life crisis’. I support individuals better manage their mental health symptoms to promote changed behavior, increased happiness, and overcome problems.

I work with clients to assist them in finding productive and healthy ways to grow through depression, grief, life stressors, trauma related issues, anxiety, as well as challenges within relationships and various other concerns. I enjoy working with individuals of all ages, as well as couples, families, and groups on diverse issues (e.g., life changes and day-to-day experiences, stress, depression, anxiety, trauma, psychosis, psychosomatic, gender issues, LGTBQ+ issues, substance abuse, eating disorders, personality, disruptive behaviors, and so much more). I have certifications in working with clients who have experienced trauma and have extensive crisis training.

I am a board certified Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Virginia. I am not a native of Virginia and was born abroad which allows me to be multiculturally aware. I specialize in Cognitive Behavioral therapy (CBT). I received my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology (2015) at South University and Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling (2018) from South University. In the spirit of community service I have volunteered my talents as a Family-2-Family facilitator for the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI). I am a member and have served on the Virginia Counselors Association (VCA) Professional Development Committee and the Newsletter Committee. I am a professional member of the American Counseling Association and a board certified member of the National Board of Certified Counselors. I continue to educate myself by attending national and local conferences, keeping up with current therapy and research. If you ever have a question, please ask. In my work as a Therapist, my clinical training and experience encompasses depression, couples enrichment, grief/loss, separation/divorce, relationship issues, and other emotional/interpersonal disturbances. I specialize in trauma such as sexual abuse, domestic violence, and death/illness.
