Peace, I’m Dyamon Unique, LCSW, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker based in Virginia. I have been practicing in the mental health field for over 8 years. I have a variety of areas of expertise to include anxiety, depression, perinatal, and life crisis’. I support individuals better manage their mental health symptoms to promote changed behavior, increased happiness, and overcome problems.

Social work is my passion and it has been for over 17 years. I have worked in a variety of settings using different treatment modalities. As I began working in the field as a substance abuse counselor, I recognized how great the need was in mental health and the challenges many individuals have faced as a result of trauma. My experience in providing years of group therapy helped me realize that there were many individuals who could benefit from therapy in a smaller context on an individual level. My experience includes corrections, community mental health, and working with active-duty service members and veterans. I earned my Bachelor of Science Degree in Social Work at Longwood University in 2003 and Master of Science Degree in Social Work from Capella University in 2019.

I am very eager to meet with you and begin the work of enriching your life through the empowerment of your choices and mastery of your world. In my work as a Therapist, my clinical training and experience encompasses depression, couples enrichment, grief/loss, separation/divorce, relationship issues, and other emotional/interpersonal disturbances.
