Hello!!! I am Edythe Bouldin, a licensed professional counselor in Virginia. I have been working in mental health for over 15 years and working as a therapist for more than 10 years. My Phd is in Family Interventions and Social work. One thing that sets me apart from other therapists, is my use of humor in sessions. I am here to help you to reach your goals and to support you on your therapy journey. I am a great listener and excited to meet and work with you.

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with over 15 years of experience providing mental health services to Children, Adults and couples. I have a Master’s degree in Education Mental Health and Substance Abuse Certifications. My experiences are in Substance Use Disorders, Anger, Grief, Low Self-Esteem, Anxiety, Depression, Trauma (PTSD), children, adults, couples and other disorders of anxiety, etc. I am currently virtual and plan to have in person in the near future.

I enjoy working with individuals of all ages, as well as couples, families, and groups on diverse issues (e.g., life changes and day-to-day experiences, stress, depression, anxiety, trauma, psychosis, psychosomatic, gender issues, LGTBQ+ issues, substance abuse, eating disorders, personality, disruptive behaviors, and so much more). I have certifications in working with clients who have experienced trauma and have extensive crisis training.

I am very eager to meet with you and begin the work of enriching your life through the empowerment of your choices and mastery of your world. In my work as a Therapist, my clinical training and experience encompasses depression, couples enrichment, grief/loss, separation/divorce, relationship issues, and other emotional/interpersonal disturbances. I specialize in trauma such as sexual abuse, domestic violence, and death/illness.
