I have experience in private practice, community mental health, and inpatient psychiatric facilities. I pride myself on being authentic, open-minded, and straight-forward with my clients. Dr. Jones graduated with her doctorate in clinical psychology in 2014 from the Adler School of Professional Psychology and has over 15 years working in the mental health field. She has a Masters of Counseling degree and began her career working with survivors of domestic violence and their children. Dr. Jones then transitioned to working with the Department of Child and Family Services where she served as a therapist for foster children who were battling trauma and the effects of placement in several foster homes. She also had the opportunity to provide parenting classes to those interested in being foster parents as well as parent training for current foster parents and parents interested in reunited with their children. Dr. Jones has experience aiding couples and families resolve relational issues. She has over 11 years of experience treating individuals with anxiety, depression, maladaptive personality traits, trauma, identity concerns, anger issues, and addictions. She has also worked extensively with individuals who have struggled with criminogenic factors, incarceration or families of those incarcerated.
