Let me introduce myself. My name is Bradley Peters. I am a transplanted Canadian, who has been living in Pennsylvania since 2001, just before 9/11. I have been a therapeutic specialist in the field for over 17 years. Reaching out to a professional can be daunting, but once you do, having that support and learning tools to help change those painful feelings becomes invaluable. My practice is small, isolated and private. I serve adolescents and adults 14 and up. Currently, I am only seeing clients through telehealth, but I am hoping this does not dissuade you. Telehealth may sound impersonal, but in reality, it can be a very convenient, safe and secure way to communicate issues, and I have yet to have any difficulties establishing strong relationships through this medium.

Hello, I am Dr. Young. Life is full of colors. Light or dark, each has its unique quality. The secret to becoming successful in playing the game of life is to change from the inside out. We live to move forward, and it requires us to be more and do more. Resilience is an innate human capacity. In my view, everyone is capable of self-healing given the proper guidance and provided with supportive conditions. With a cultivated healthy sense of self, solutions appear with the clarity to think about what you desire in life, not what you cannot or don't have. In tough water, even good swimmers might struggle. If you have dreams and hopes, I can help you to pick up new skills going through the waves of life. Let's work together!

I am a psychotherapist who works with a diverse population of people. My goal is to collaborate with individuals to assist them in achieving their therapy goal(S). My treatment modalities are cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, mindfulness-based therapy, and Ericksonian hypnotherapy approaches. Although I used these modalities, I do not use a one size fits all approach. I am a think-out-of-the-box clinician that will often challenge clients to try approaches that may be out of their comfort zone. Some examples of my experience include working with individual clients on developing skills in coping with mental health conditions/diagnosis, life stress, finding balance, and improving self-esteem. Although I use these approaches, my clients tell me it feels like we are having a conversation as opposed to feeling like they are in a therapy session. I have a specialization in working with Veterans, LGBTQI, men, and people of color populations. However, I work with all people who are seeking mental health services. I am licensed in DC (LICSW), VA (LCSW), MD (LCSW-C), and PA (LCSW). I have BS in Human Ecology, BA in Humanities from The Ohio State University, MSW from San Jose State University and Post Masters fellowship in mental health from Stanford University.

Welcome! I'm glad you are making the decision to prioritize your needs. With the pressures of the world and our own self-criticism, it can feel impossible to uncover our own self-confidence, self-esteem, and self-worth. These emotions and feelings can show up in our lives in many different ways. Not wanting to get out bed. Placing limits on yourself due to a fear of failing. The expectations you place on yourself and are given to you by others can feel suffocating. I offer a comfortable space to be allow yourself to be vulnerable and find your strength to lead your life the way you choose. We will work on recognizing patterns of behavior and disrupting negative cycles. Together, we can identify what's not working and get you back to on track. Life is too short to not give yourself an opportunity to make positive changes in your life. Reaching out to a therapist can be intimidating. The fact that you made it to my profile is a WIN! I hope you can take the time to reach out and schedule an appointment to start this change in your life. I would like to help assist you along your journey.

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, and where ever you are in your life right now, I believe there is always time to reflect on and improve your overall well-being if needed. When do you set aside time for yourself? Let's talk about that. How often do you hesitate or ruminate over a mistake you made yesterday, or even last year? It's common to get stuck on our paths and focus on mistakes - talk to me and we can begin drawing a map for better understanding your emotions, thoughts and how they dictate your everyday. What is keeping you from living the type of life that you want for yourself and how do those obstacles dictate your everyday choices? These are only one of the questions I can help you answer for yourself in our sessions that focus on managing intrusive thoughts, building better relationships and accepting your whole being as worthy of love. I work with cerebrally inclined adults and teens, giving attention to their needs when “being in my head,” and perfectionism distracts from attainable goals. With my experience in using evidence-based practices and building a comfortable space for you, my philosophical background will guide you through anxiety, depression, obsessive thoughts and existential dread. We will use mindfulness exercises, meditation and structured cognitive-behavioral prompts as well. Think of our time together as a study group with your holistic well being as the main subject and the quiz as your everyday life. Ultimately, I offer the chance for us to go on that journey of self-discovery as a team - we can find the answers that you are looking for. Let’s do it!

Greetings and welcome. My name is Dr. Elizabeth Brillon, DSW, LCSW, C-DBT, CCTP-II and I am an expert in managing anxieties and trauma. Life doesn't seem to work out the way we expect it to, does it? Do you ever feel like sometimes it is just too much to handle? When you pause to take a moment to think, are you pondering why your connections with others aren't allowing you to gain the elements you need to be at peace? This disharmony can be difficult to balance without support. I form partnerships with individuals to identify manifestations of trauma and develop appropriate tools for symptom management. Oftentimes, trauma also goes hand-in-hand with anxiety and depression. I work with committed and motivated learners on the path to move forward on their holistic wellness journey through incorporation of customized tools rooted in evidence-supported interventions. It can feel lonely when you feel overwhelmed by those things in life that you cannot control. You are deserving of peace, safety, and healing in the therapeutic setting. You can look no further if you reach out to me. To properly care for our individual selves, we must nurture both our physical and mental health. Join me for the partnership and we will journey forward collaboratively.

I believe that all members of society should have the same basic rights, protections, opportunities, obligations, and social benefits. My practice is governed by the belief that you are a valuable human being. You have the right to express your ideas and opinions openly and honestly. You have the right to direct and govern your life. You have the right to stand up for yourself without anxiety and make choices that are good for you. You have the right to change your mind. You have the right to not be liked by everyone. You have the right to be wrong. You have the right to make requests and refuse them without feeling guilty. You have the right to ask for information. You have the right not to be responsible for others’ behaviors, actions, feelings, or problems.

I don't believe in a 'cookie cutter' approach to treatment as everyone is unique. I believe in meeting a person where they are at in life. I have been a practicing clinician for over 10 years and have worked in a variety of settings. This has allowed me to develop a unique skillset and insight into a variety of different issues an individual is experiencing.

Hi! My name is Chelsea. I am a licensed therapist in Pennsylvania. I provide short-term and long-term virtual individual therapy for adolescents and adults. I have been privileged to work with clients in crisis, at the intensive outpatient level, in schools, in outpatient community mental health, and in group practice. You may be seeking therapy because your inner pain has spilled out onto your relationships, work, family, physical health, or creative endeavors, and you’re struggling to bear it on your own. Maybe you are generally well-functioning, but you have long held a sense of disconnection from life. Perhaps you are facing a significant life transition, you are grieving a loved one, or you have been unable to move on from traumatic events or periods of life. Your distress may be manifesting as anxiety, excessive worry, hypervigilance, depressed or unstable mood, irritability, numbness, hopelessness, fatigue, or suicidal thoughts. While mental health symptom relief and learning practical coping skills may be a good portion of what you need in treatment, healing does not have to stop there. Therapy can be a place to (re)discover your true self, to become unburdened from the weight of the past, to help you live a meaningful life where you have agency, or to build your psychological health.
