I am a licensed professional counselor looking to help others find their full potential by using an eclectic approach to therapy. If you find yourself aimlessly scrolling through profiles in search of an authentic therapist, I may be a great fit for you. I find that being authentic with clients is what helps them build a foundation and feel safe enough to share their issues and concerns. I practice from a person-centered approach while mixing in elements of CBT to help clients guide their treatment while also holding them accountable. I specialize in the use of art therapy to help clients communicate and process various topics that may be difficult to speak about. Whether you're dealing with anxiety, depression, issues with substance abuse, or relationship issues, I'm here to help. Seeking treatment can be difficult, but if you've already taken this first step in searching for a therapist then you've likely already identified that this is something you can benefit from with the right help. If you've been reading this far and I seem like a good fit for you, let's work together!

Your story matters. Your life has value. You are worth it. Seeking help through life's difficulties can be daunting. It can, at times, also be met with some disapproval by others who don't understand the position that you are in or the struggles you face. I want to acknowledge your bravery in taking this step to prioritize your mental health. It isn't easy, but I can assure you it will be worth it. A little about me: I am passionate about helping others seek out health and wholeness in their lives. I currently practice as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in the state of Indiana. In my 8 years of clinical experience, I have worked in multiple settings (community based mental health, in-home therapy for adults and children, outpatient adult & pediatric therapy) and have experience with a variety of mental health concerns. These include: depression, anxiety, eating disorders, ADHD, ASD, substance abuse, trauma, and more. I look forward to meeting you and hearing your story!

I believe that if every human being had someone to provide them with unconditional positive regard, especially during the formative years of childhood, our world would be a safer place. Unfortunately, many of us don’t even make it through childhood without wounds from emotionally painful experiences. Sometimes the consequences of these experiences are long-lasting and can impact our well-being, relationships, and work. Fortunately, therapy can help. I have worked in community and university settings for the past 7 years, and I have experience treating a variety of mental health struggles such as anxiety, depression, sexual abuse, trauma, marriage/family issues, and communication challenges.

Hi! People of all walks of life often go through tough times ... and I am here to help. Since 1991, I have worked with individuals across outpatient and inpatient settings, in homes and schools, and now through telehealth. I have assisted people with a variety of challenges--whether related to depression, anxiety and stress, trauma, behavioral control, self-esteem, substance use, life transition, and other issues. I believe in "possibilities thinking", goal setting, active strategizing, and frequent accounting of progress. As a long-term counselor and college psychology professor, I am well acquainted with many therapeutic approaches; however, I am somewhat partial to cognitive-behavioral therapy, relaxation and mindfulness, and solution-focused treatment. I am also formally EMDR-trained and DBT-Certified. There are many therapy options and providers--whomever you select, I wish you the best. Remember--it’s your life, your journey … make the most of it! Sincerely, Rick NOTE: At the current time, my availability will typically be from 5 pm - 8/9 pm during most weekdays (M-T-W-TH-F) and 8 am - 2/3 pm on most weekends. Daytime weekday availability is limited due to my full-time behavioral-health position. NOTE: At this time, I am accepting only adults (age 18 and up) of any age. NOTE: I am offering only 1:1 (no family or couples) therapy. NOTE: I do not engage in any court-ordered treatment. NOTE: I am interested in conducting therapy, not doing work-mandated, IEP, or other one-time (e.g., Drug & Alcohol or Mental Competency) evaluations. NOTE: Though an experienced Licensed Professional Counselor, I am not a Licensed Psychologist or a Psychiatrist. As such, I cannot conduct psychological testing or prescribe medications.

Hello! I am Theresa, a Generation X Clinical Social Worker who has been in the field for 25+ years. I am here to offer support for the hardworking folks out there who don't get a lot of time to take care of themselves. Are you a working mom juggling your life, your kids and maybe elderly parents too? Are you a First Responder, Nurse or other medical professional exposed to a lot of trauma and loss? Have you thought about getting support from a therapist but aren't sure how to start? Reach out to me and I can help make the process more comfortable. So many of us are struggling, trying to manage everything on our own. Do you feel overwhelmed or exhausted, do you worry all the time and can't get your brain to slow down and be quiet? I totally get it. Please know that there's nothing wrong with you! We are human and all go through things. It's normal to go through hard times and it's OK to get support. Asking for help isn't weak. And therapy really can help-- it may not be able to solve things going on in the world that are out of our control, but it can help us manage the tough stuff and move towards easier, happier times.

I'm so glad you're here! I’m excited to collaborate with you in working toward increasing sexual safety, wellness, and pleasure in your life. I'd love to work together to figure out what you’re already doing that’s working for you and develop a plan to build on your current strengths and supports to help you move toward the sexual life and relationships you want. Most of us have been taught not to talk about sex and our bodies, and many of us have been taught to be ashamed of our bodies and what we think about, fantasize about, and do sexually. I believe that everyone is a sexual being and that sexual expression is a healthy part of all of our lives. Sometimes all we need is for someone to hold a safe space for us while we explore and process. Sometimes what we need is specific education, skills, and the support to develop them. As a Licensed Professional Counselor and AASECT Certified Sex Therapist with over 20 years of experience in the field of sexual wellness, my goal isn’t to tell you where you should go, what you should do, or how you should be, but to help you move in the direction of the life you want, wherever that might take you.

Hello and welcome, I'm Sarah! Life can be stressful, overwhelming, and beautiful. I believe we all can benefit from professional support through therapy. Therapy looks different for everyone, but it is always a joint effort of therapist and client. I bring empathetic understanding, evidence-based clinical techniques, and a safe environment... you bring your unique experience in life, expertise on your situation, and willingness to work on yourself. I specialize in helping those who need support navigating the stress of life, as well as those who have experienced trauma. Additionally, I specialize in treating individuals in prenatal/postpartum support. My clinical training is in EMDR (eye movement desensitization and reprocessing). This highly specialized technique allows people who are "stuck" in depression, anxiety, trauma, OCD, and psychotic disorders where other therapies have not been successful. We will go at your speed. Thank you for taking this first step in your healing!

Greetings and welcome. My name is Dr. Elizabeth Brillon, DSW, LCSW, C-DBT, CCTP-II and I am an expert in managing anxieties and trauma. Life doesn't seem to work out the way we expect it to, does it? Do you ever feel like sometimes it is just too much to handle? When you pause to take a moment to think, are you pondering why your connections with others aren't allowing you to gain the elements you need to be at peace? This disharmony can be difficult to balance without support. I form partnerships with individuals to identify manifestations of trauma and develop appropriate tools for symptom management. Oftentimes, trauma also goes hand-in-hand with anxiety and depression. I work with committed and motivated learners on the path to move forward on their holistic wellness journey through incorporation of customized tools rooted in evidence-supported interventions. It can feel lonely when you feel overwhelmed by those things in life that you cannot control. You are deserving of peace, safety, and healing in the therapeutic setting. You can look no further if you reach out to me. To properly care for our individual selves, we must nurture both our physical and mental health. Join me for the partnership and we will journey forward collaboratively.

Emotions, relationships, communication, loss, addiction, trauma, change. Life is a cycle of joy & pain, and at times, it may feel like the pain is winning. I believe you are powerful beyond measure, that you have all the answers and solutions you seek but the pain and circumstances of life often block your access to them. You may not fully believe how powerful you are now, but, if you allow me, I can help you find this truth. You are not broken. You don't need to be fixed. We all need some help now and then and helping others is the core of what I do. I've been empowering individuals since 1999. Using an extensive set of skills, combined with compassion, understanding, and a non-judgmental and collaborative approach, we will focus on restoration rather than pathology. Together we will restore and celebrate the courageous, and resilient you! I specialize in the healing of trauma, PTSD, anxiety, mood stabilization and addiction recovery. I hold an advanced degree in psychology, I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional. Clients have described my counseling style as transparent, authentic, and real. I am extremely competent, but I curse some, and I'll compassionately encourage your growth.
