Hello I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor. I have worked in the mental health field for over 20 years. I have been licensed in the state of Ohio for 6 years. I am an active duty Air Force Veteran and served during the Gulf War. I earned my Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from the University of Maryland at College Park and a Master of Arts degree in Professional Counseling from Argosy University Washington, D.C. campus. While I diagnose and treat most mental health disorders I specialize in grief and bereavement and certified as a grief recovery specialist. I also provide individual counseling to adults who are seeking help with life choices, decision making and personal difficulties.

Many people turn to psychotherapy or counseling for help with anxiety, depression, trauma, painful relationship patterns, feeling stuck, or sometimes just the feeling that something is missing from life. Sometimes we may not have the words to describe our feelings, struggles, or suffering. However, with insight into past relationships and experiences, many people can make progress immediately toward overcoming these difficulties and becoming more effective in their work and relationships. For more than a decade I have been counseling clients with a variety of mental, emotional, relational, and spiritual health struggles from a wide spectrum of personalities and life experiences. Each counseling experience brings challenges and victories. I consider it an honor and privilege to come alongside individuals or couples in need- to help in the healing process through processing trauma, identifying and replacing harmful and self-sabotaging patterns of behavior with restorative ones, providing mediation and advocacy, and offering compassion and accountability. I grew up in Ohio, but now live on a 17 acre homestead in the Ozarks with my wife of 17 years and our 6 children. My personal interests range from video games to lumberjacking. I have enjoyed the time and opportunity to work remotely and start a new chapter in my life with my family figuring out the homesteading chaos.

I have over twenty five years of social work experience, most of my years of experience are in a clinical setting combined with both clinical and supervisory and administrative duties. I have successfully completed both a Bachelor in Social Work and a Master in Social Work from Rutgers University, specializing in direct practice with children and families and a MBA from Indiana Wesleyan University with a focus on healthcare.

Hi. I am an LISW in Ohio and LCSW in North Carolina and received my degree from the University of Southern California. I am a USMC veteran and am also married to an active duty service member. Much of my background is in crisis work and short-term therapy models. I love to focus on ways in which one can make adjustments to their routine and add in healthy coping skills in order to better improve their overall functioning.
