Hi! My name is Billy. Are you struggling with depression, anxiety, substance abuse, stress, anger...or possibly all five? These issues are not uncommon and can be debilitating, especially when guilt or shame are added to the mix. But you can kick them all to the curb. All it takes is a willingness to change your perspectives. I've worked with thousands of clients (adults and children) who struggle with self-defeating beliefs that zap the joy out of life. And I've found that Hope and Purpose, along with healthy doses of Motivation and Creativity, crush inner demons. How do you find Hope and Purpose? It's not as complicated as you might think. We are made to help each other. We are made to communicate. We are made to have a positive impact. Sometimes, though, life attacks from all directions and leaves us feeling defeated. That's when we need help. I'm here to listen. I'm here to learn about your struggles and find ways to help you view them differently. And, who knows? I may even share some of my Blackstone Griddle secrets along the way. God Bless!

Trauma is a catalyst that can either bind us in grief or propel us toward greatness. By accepting what cannot be changed and learning how to properly cope with what is, we can all live a life we envision. In my experience as a therapist, I have noticed the impact grief, loss and trauma can have on an individual's psyche. With that being said, I have also noticed- and have profound appreciation for- the innate resilience evidenced in the healing process. For the past 10 years, I’ve worked tirelessly in community mental health, school based and psychiatric sites where I provided individual, family, and group therapy. By analyzing past circumstances, teaching self- awareness, and offering an open space to just be, I help clients unshackle the pain that keeps them bound. I pull from various treatment modalities including Humanistic, Acceptance Commitment, Cognitive Behavioral, Dialectical Behavioral, Strengths-Based, and Solution-Focused Therapy. Let us embark on this healing journey together. Reclaim the person you were always intended to be! Signed, The Connected Counselor

At our sessions I take notes that I give to you at the end of our sessions, so you have have something tangible to take with you, as well as links to resources such as podcasts, books, take home exercises (never mandatory though!) to help you progress in between sessions to make our time together more valuable. I used to be in direct service many years ago and then moved into training EAP providers and offering trainings for Mental Health providers to maintain their licenses, but during the, "Great Hiatus," I saw that people needed help. So I came back to be in the trenches. You are in good hands! I am also a student of positive psychology, but I have the ability to empathize deeply and really be right there with you. Almost all of my clients have experienced breakthroughs and by the end of our time together are enjoying their lives again and feeling competent to problem solve and develop coping tools, and resiliency.

Greetings! I am a Licensed Independent Social Worker (LISW) and have worked with offenders, anger management clients, couples, teens and adults struggling with ADHD, anxiety and depression. Through a strengths based approach, my clients learn more about themselves thus improving self-confidence, communication, mood and overall outlook on life. I love serving my teen and couples clients via the Gallup strengths test. This test helps individuals understand where their energy is highest and what they value most. It's not about "strengths", but values. I believe one of the best things we can do for ourselves is take the time to truly understand ourselves as this helps us learn to communicate effectively, be productive, overcome procrastination and more. This is one tool of many I enjoy using to help my clients.

Hi! I’m Sophie, a LMHC in the state of Florida and a LPCC in Ohio. My goal is to be a level sounding board and safe place for you. I work collaboratively with my clients to meet their goals. It is so important to feel heard and validated. My hope is to provide that for you. I hope to make you feel empowered through our work together. I know it is not always easy to ask for help. It is very brave that you are here doing so! I received a BA in Psychology and a M.Ed. in rehabilitation counseling and mental health counseling from FAU. I love working with all people. My interests include: mood disorders, anxiety, OCD, chronic pain, fertility issues/women’s health, relationship/family issues and trauma. I have chosen to work virtually moving forward and dedicate my time to my private practice. I love to help people and I would love to see if we would be a good fit to work together!

Do you feel like something is holding you back? Getting in your way? Many people run into barriers- barriers that keep them from achieving their goals, get in the way of their relationships or keep them from moving on. These barriers can look like anxiety, depression, trauma, communication patterns, etc. This is where I can help! I have worked with crisis services and trauma survivors my whole career; and trauma can look different for everyone! I enjoy nothing more than helping clients identify the barriers that are holding them back, constructing a plan to break it down and take steps towards doing so. I have a Marriage and Family Therapist License in addition to my Clinical Counselor License, so couples are a passion of mine as well.

Hello and Welcome! I am a Licensed Professional Counselor for the state of Pennsylvania. For the past 15 years, I have been working with adolescents and adults that have struggled with domestic abuse and have symptoms of trauma such as PTSD, depression, anxiety, low self-worth, mistrust, and hopelessness, by helping them find their purpose and their "WHY". I help those who find it difficult to work through toxic or unhealthy relationships rather it be professionally or personally. I work with clients that experience emotional pain through their past trauma and help them break free from their pain where they regain their spark and power. Working with me, I will help you transform your emotional trauma into your strength. I have successfully helped clients write their stories, which are now books, about their past trauma and they have shared their stories with others so they too could encourage others to share their story and get the help they need, as there is power in sharing with others who are in similar situations. Again, it's about transforming emotional pain into power and strength. My focus is to help you heal, energize, and become aware of your inner strengths. I achieve this by providing a neutral safe space, listening to your concerns, and customizing a treatment plan. As a mental health therapist, I'm here to empower you to see yourself as a being with a powerful life story. As we embark on your therapeutic journey together, I will always let you take the lead, after all, you are the expert on your own story. I won't always have the answers, but I will make a safe space for you to find them for yourself.

Last year he completed his 72 hour permaculture certification. More recently at St. Leo the Great parish, Dr. Trauth began working with the Burundian refugee population. These refugees requested his help in obtaining land for farming so they could grow their own food. Observable outcomes that have had a significant impact on these refugees include community integration, self-efficacy, self-sufficiency, increase in business knowledge, opportunities for physical exercise for all ages, and a collaboration with different organizations focused on the creation and sustainability of a refugee garden.
