Maybe she’s born with it! 🧠 Maybe it’s ✨late✨stage✨capitalism✨ ~ you are worth so much more than your productivity. you need rest and care. you are a human being ~ not a human doing. you are allowed to just be ~ A social worker at ❤️‍🔥, my clinical approach is grounded in acknowledging the harm caused by systems of oppression + structural racism. My practice centers intersectional feminist values + disability justice. I am anti-racist + LGBTQIA+ celebratory. 🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️🇵🇸 As a therapist + human, I recognize + reflect on the privilege I hold + how this has assisted me in navigating the world. The lens I look through may be of interest to you. I am a second generation immigrant settler from Lebanon. I am a Millenial. I have a Master's education and grew up in an upper-middle class family. I am a non-binary queer woman. I am able-bodied, chronically ill and a survivor. I live in the colonized portion of Wabanaki territory now known as Mount Desert Island, Maine. My practice supports gender-diverse + queer individuals with atypical ways of thinking, feeling + relating. I serve highly intellectual folks + deep thinkers. I specialize in working with "Talented & Gifted burn-out kids" who are in the process of unmasking. Many of my clients are late-diagnosed or un-diagnosed Autistic//ADHD. I work with hyper-sensitive//self-aware//highly anxious survivors of complex trauma who experience obsessive thoughts, executive dysfunction, social withdrawal//avoidance + sleep disturbances. I vibe with clients who are interested in understanding themselves + how their early childhood experiences shaped their relational patterns today. If this is you, I would be honored to support you on this journey of ✨unlearning✨🌱

I am retired Army officer and a licensed and board certified clinical social worker. I am considered a subject matter expert in a few areas, primarily cognitive behavior therapy. I chose to be a cognitive therapist because it resonates with me and because it works. Traditional talk therapy can be cathartic and have a relaxing effect, but you could do that with a friend at no cost. I value your time and money by utilizing evidence-based psychotherapy techniques to help you get better faster and learn the skills to help keep you out of a therapists office in the future.

Hello! My name is Clover and I am a licensed clinical therapist and addiction specialist in the state of North Carolina and I use she/her pronouns. I look forward to the opportunity of learning and working together as part of our therapeutic process. I enjoy working with folks who are gender diverse and members of the LGBTQIA+ community who experience unique stressors and conflicts with their day-to-day lives. I also love working with folks who struggle with substance use either in addition to other life stressors or on its own. I started my clinical work with addiction and grew as a therapist and person to see people from a whole-person perspective. Our difficulties, conflicts, our stressors do not define us for who we are and when they prevent or delay us from becoming our authentic selves is where the therapeutic process blossoms. As a person who identifies as gender diverse, I have lived through many difficult life circumstances where I have learned and grown as a person. I have first-hand navigated through complex systems and emotionally wrought situations to become my authentic self and continue to do so. I believe everybody is always in a constant process of growing into our best selves and I hope to have the opportunity to work with you along this process too.

Hi! I'm Jasmine and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker that has been practicing therapy for 6 years. I obtained a Bachelors in Psychology in 2010 at Eastern Michigan University and completed my Master of Social Work at Johnson C. Smith University, graduating in 2017. Do you have a hard time with change and life transitions? Do you feel overstimulated and unable to ground yourself? Do you feel isolated or "different" from everybody else? Are you exploring your identity, sexuality, or self-image? Are you seeking a therapist who can provide an atmosphere where you feel comfortable enough to vent, find relief, and explore your story– however unconventional it may be? Do you crave a space where you can find yourself or be encouraged to be the expert on your life while being held accountable for your goals? If you want to live a life that aligns with your values or true identity while communicating and reinforcing your boundaries, I can help you get there. Together, using strength-based and person-centered therapy with a psychodynamic touch (and a healthy dose of humor), we can partner and begin your journey to building the confidence to be who you are and enhancing your strengths. Finally, feel self-assured in your value and speak up for what you want in your life, relationships, and career. If you’re ready to build a happy, thriving life while being true to yourself, let’s chat today. I come from a military family that has been located throughout the United States, allowing me the opportunity to meet people from varying cultures and backgrounds. This has contributed to my ability to become more culturally competent and open-minded when working with different clients. When I’m not in therapist mode, I’m... Either out and about on the town attending open mics, enjoying brunch, having fun at concerts or at home watching the Food Network, cartoons, dramas, and comedies.
