I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who is skilled in numerous modalities that includes both EMDR and sensorimotor therapies. My specialties go to the root of the problem and finds the silver thread or in therapeutic terms the neurobiological network that connects the negative beliefs inherent in all the trauma the patient experienced. In addition to my trauma training I earned my RPT (registered play therapist) and I have extensive knowledge of child development and counseling children and adolescents. I am willing to counsel adolescents online but children younger than 12 must be seen in person.

Hello! I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) based in New Jersey. I received my Masters from Rutgers University and have been practicing for about 5 years. I have experience in helping individuals learn positive coping skills and strategies that can help to improve their mental and emotional well-being. I work with my clients on identifying self-care activities and positive coping skills, in addition to understanding their strengths and weaknesses. I also work with my clients on developing and implementing skills that will help them to set boundaries and limits and to problem solve and set goals. These learned skills will ultimately help my clients to navigate relationships and situations in their lives that are the source of their stressors. My overall goal is to help my clients overcome the stressors, problems, and trauma that overwhelm them, so they can thrive and live their best lives.

I have been working in the helping profession for over 17 years. I attended the University of Pennsylvania's School of Social Policy and Practice, specializing in clinical social work. I have practiced in a variety of clinical settings and currently work as a mental health counselor at a local high school. I specialize in addressing anxiety, depression, mood dysregulation, interpersonal difficulties, and trauma. I have worked with clients of all ages, but currently focus on adults.
