I have experience working with individuals, on a wide variety of issues including depression, anxiety, relationships, self-esteem, LGBTQIA+, marital, grief, and stress-related issues. I have a strength-based, solution-focused and person-centered approach. With 12 years of experience, I make use of different evidenced-based interventions such as: CBT, mindfulness, CPT, and motivational interviewing. I was born and raised in Puerto Rico and 20 years ago I moved to Florida where I currently reside. I graduated in 2005 from Florida International University with a Masters in Mental Health Counseling. At the present time, I hold 8 state licenses that allows me to to provide Tele-health counseling in other states besides Florida; Texas, South Carolina, Georgia, Arizona, Missouri, Utah and Michigan. I am also bilingual (English and Spanish) and I have more than 10 years of experience in the mental health and social services arena.
