Hello and welcome. My name is Dr. Michele Kapalcik or “Dr. Michele” for short. I am a licensed Counselor and Therapist in several states. I have worked with helping a multitude of clients with many disorders and personal backgrounds. In addition, I have a Ph.D in Addiction Psychology with over 25 years of sobriety myself. I am very familiar with all stages of addiction and am eager to help. I am a very kind hearted caring individual who takes pride in understanding the personal issues of others and applying personal treatment to meet their needs. I work with each client from start of treatment to finish to preserve and strengthen the counseling relationship to our needs, in order to meet or exceed client expectations.

Welcome! I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) practicing in the state of Maryland. I have my master's degree in a CACREP accredited program from Liberty University. I am a doctoral student pursuing a degree in Counseling Education and Supervision. I am trained in EMDR therapy. I am in the process of training to become an EMDR consultant. I am also training to become a certified trauma specialist. I have completed specialized training for treating adolescent and adult ADHD.

I am a Licensed Certified Clinical Social Worker with almost twenty years experience working with individuals, families and groups. I work from the perspective although I know various theoretical approaches well, every client is unique and treatment should reflect their personal needs. I also have over ten years experience in clinical supervision and professional growth empowerment. I look forward to working with you.
