Destiny treats adults who have experienced anxiety, depression, trouble concentrating, insomnia, traumatic events, and more. She emphasizes the collaboration between provider and patient in identifying needs, finding solutions, and achieving goals. Medication management is the primary service offered by Destiny, although psychotherapy may be a treatment modality used with established patients. Destiny's holistic, integrative approach to treatment considers how your lifestyle and environment may impact you mentally and emotionally. She will help you identify triggers, patterns, and overall emotional cycles that lead to your continued symptoms, including making lifestyle changes through coaching and collaborating with patients. You may feel stuck in patterns you don't quite understand and want to level up your life. If you are motivated to become your most whole, authentic self, reach out and schedule an initial session.

I'm a psychiatric family nurse practitioner who can evaluate and treat 4y/o clients up until elderly I provide psychiatric evaluations and medication management follow-ups. I do not feel comfortable treating clients who are utilizing tobacco or e-cigarettes due to the increased cardiovascular risks of heart attack or stroke. I am a benzo reduction specialist so I do not start clients on benzodiazepines or z-sedative hypnotics and for clients who are currently being prescribed benzo's or z-sedative hypnotics we will slow taper off by decreasing the quantity to be dispensed by 2 tablets/month with the goal being benzo/z-sedative hypnotic free.

I am an Adult Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner. When you and your therapist feel that your therapy might benefit from a course of mental health medication, I can assist with the medication management. I use prescription drugs, over-the-counter supplements, and specialized lab tests to help with choosing the best medication for a specific patient. Note that I do not at this time offer assistance with opioid or benzodiazepine prescriptions, substance use disorders, care of persons with intellectual or developmental disorders, or medication management during pregnancy. My secure telehealth software is ZOOM, and I will send a ZOOM link after an appointment is confirmed. The initial appointment is about 60 minutes but follow-up meetings are only about 20-30 minutes. I call each person who makes an online appointment for an initial consultation to discuss what services are needed; after that call and after obtaining some additional information, I will confirm the initial appointment. Follow-up appointments, cancellations, postponements, etc., are made directly with me, not online.
