I have experience working with children, adolescents, adults, and families. I specialize in issues of adjustment, trauma, depression, anxiety, crisis, grief, child and adolescent behaviors, and sexual abuse. I also have experience with talking with individuals with mood and personality disorders, PTSD, and issues surrounding divorce. On a more personal level, I enjoy traveling and refer to myself as a coffee connoisseur. I also have two small dogs that think they run the world and like to introduce themselves from time to time in my sessions. I always have a plan but I believe some of life's greatest adventures are in taking the scenic route.

I am a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) in Kentucky. I completed my masters degree in social work at the University of Louisville and have been in practice for 8 years. I use a client-centered therapeutic approach that incorporates cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR). I have personally experienced many of life's ups and downs and can related to the problems many of my clients are experiencing.
