I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor who specializes in depression, anxiety, grief and trauma. I have a Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling and have extensive training in risk assessment, family therapy, sexual abuse and complex trauma. I like assessing the needs of my clients and then use a variety of proven therapy methods to help them resolve emotional and behavioral difficulties. After working in school and non-profit settings for several years, I saw a lot of people struggling with mental health issues that were not properly addressed. I felt called to provide children, adolescents, couples and adults with a safe space to explore and resolve these concerns. I look forward to helping you and your family.

In a society that encourages us to disconnect from oursevles, it can be difficult to tap into who we are and what we need to be truly happy in life. My biggest joy in being a healer/wellness worker is teaching people how to connect with and come home to themselves. Because that process looks different for everyone, it’s important for us, as therapists, to be able to witness, learn, and connect with every client in their wholeness, without judgment and without expectation. This is something I aim to do individually with each client I work with. During our time together, we will work on your personalized goals, but we will also… -Share laughs and spend time building rapport -Address stressors in your daily life such as work/school, intimate relationships, friendships, family, etc. -Explore your identity and belief systems -Practice self-validation through taking ownership of experiences, feelings, and needs -Unpack individual, inter-generational, societal, and cultural traumas, and explore how those experiences impact you, consciously and unconsciously -Practice slowing down and being present so that you can witness yourself in any given moment (how you feel, what your needs are, what you think of your thoughts, etc). -Explore if there is an underlying neurodivergence that explains how you observe and interact with life -Learn to challenge societal norms and traditional constructs that may be out of alignment with the authentic you -Practice accepting areas of yourself and your life that you cannot change while learning how to implement healthy control over things you can change -Assess how systems of oppression impact/have impacted you and how those systems may relate to your individual needs and stressors -Practice self-observation and self-curiosity -Work towards living a more conscious life by developing insight and self-awareness

I am a Licensed Clinical Social worker based in Bowling Green, KY who has an obsession with Dolly Parton, Pekingese dogs, and New Orleans. I have been in practice since 2017 and have worked with clients experiencing substance abuse, sexual trauma, and grief and loss. I believe that therapy can awaken parts of us that hold more strength than we know. Therapy gives back to us the power and the peace that might be eluding us because of that pain and confusion and longing we struggle with as a result of trauma or neglect. I have seen the way therapy can heal and inspire change and it is the highest honor to walk alongside my clients in their journey. As a therapist, I still haven't found magic words to make it all better or take it all away. But in sessions with me, you will feel heard and seen. I will always keep your life and therapy goals in mind. I will support and challenge you with humor and sincerity. So when you're ready, I'm here.
