I have been working in Mental Health since 2011, first as an inpatient psychiatric RN and now as a psychiatric nurse practitioner. I have practiced as a nurse practitioner in VA hospitals as a psychiatric consultation liaison and at VA community-based outpatient clinics. I have also worked in community mental health, mostly working with clients on Medicaid. I started my own private practice in 2019 and continue to work in private practice as I enjoy giving clients my full attention in order for them to succeed. As my humble experience suggests, I respect and enjoy working with clients from all walks of life. After completing training in 2012 at Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center of Shreveport, I began practicing psychiatry. have experience practicing in multiple settings including emergency room, hospital, medical wards, outpatient programs, outpatient offices, correctional facilities, research substance use programs and teaching programs.
