Educated and trained at Rutgers, Harvard, Savannah State, and the University of Pennsylvania, Michael Mack started his career over 25 years ago at the Philadelphia Child Guidance Clinic, where he focused in Structural Family Therapy (SFT) developed by Salvador Minuchin, a pioneer in child and adolescent therapy. In addition, he has been trained by the Beck Institute and Linehan Institute/Behavioral Tech in evidence-based interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Prolonged Exposure Therapy (PE), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and have been practicing for over 11 years. I have provided therapeutic services to individuals of all ages. I have worked with children and adults with a range of socio-emotional, developmental and behavioral problems at all stages of development. I enjoy working with individuals from all backgrounds and have experience with LGBTQ populations. I have a certification in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) and have worked with individuals who have experienced trauma for the past 9 years.

I am an LCSW and certified addiction counselor with over 25 years of providing behavioral health and addiction services. I began my career in behavioral health while serving in the United States Air Force. There I provided counseling and support to my fellow Airmen. I believe that everyone deserves to live their best life. This led me to further my education. I went on to earn a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Oglethorpe University. Then later obtained a Master of Social Work degree from the University of Georgia. When I am not scrapbooking, sewing or creating in my craft room, you can find me volunteering in the community, spending time with friends or traveling.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with 12 years of experience in counseling and direct case management. Most of my career has been spent with children and families in the midst of homelessness, foster care, and/or adoption, so I am no stranger to walking alongside others in their lowest valleys and on their highest mountains. I have also worked with many adults and couples as they navigate depression, grief and loss, anxiety, and relationship issues. With a background in psychology and a continued interest in the way that our brains impact our lives, I work with each unique client to untangle the white noise in their mind and achieve their goals.

Each age and stage of life brings new challenges and it doesn't come with a manual. My goal is to help clients navigate these transitions and challenges in the best way possible. I have spent 12 years working with children and families in a school setting and have seen the way family struggles impact the individual. My particular strengths are communication difficulties, relationship struggles, parenting and attachment needs. I am a practitioner of TBRI (Trust-Based Relational Interventions) and practice human-informed care.
